Hi guys, I put a book as 'currently reading' about a month ago but never even got round to starting it...
Would it count for the challenge if I change it to 'to read' and then start it up when I feel like it in a couple of weeks? I understand if it isn't allowed. :)

If you haven't started reading it, it's fine. :) Just make sure you have the correct start/end dates on the review. :)

Of course! Any books in a series that is over 100 pages long. Different rules apply for the in-betweeners though (0.5s and 1.5s etc.). Check out the first comment of this thread - it has more information.

When I requested it on NetGalley I thought it was a different book too! I haven't read Across the Universe, if I know this book is a prequel of Across the Universe, I won't request it. But then I read in some reviews that said it is a spin off. Glad it doesn't connect with Across the Universe.

How about ? As the blurb says, it's a spin-off of Lux series and my friend told me that it takes place between book 3 and book 4 of Lux series. So how should I call it? book 1 or else?

It says on the books goodreads page "This is a stand alone novel that is an adult spin-off of the Lux Series You do not need to read a Lux book to read Obsession and vice versa." so I don't think we can count that for the challenge. As it says that it's a stand alone, and that you don't need to read the Lux series first, I don't think we can count it as part of a series.

Thanks Sarah, I was kinda confused of this book. One of my friend said that it's better if I read it first before I read the final book of Lux series, but some said that I don't need to. I actually am not interest with the book :)

I liked book 4 enough to read the last book but am kinda hesitant to read it too. My friend who has similar taste with me DNF it. And I have this habit that I have to finish books that I've started, including series, even when I didn't like it. So I prepare myself for not liking it now :D

You can post as many different series as you like. They don't have to be full series to count. :)

Yep, november-december is our chance to finish all those series we started already (although I'll never read them all!)
