You can sign up for the challenge on our home page, here:

https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/...

On the threads below are lists of books, each list was created by one of us moderators. Can you tell which list belongs to which moderator? The answers will not be provided until Halloween, but in the meantime, challenge yourself to read however many books you like, but from only ONE list!

There are no prizes for this challenge, but you will have bragging rights to really knowing your Horror Aficionados Moderators!

Without further delays here's the lists!

We're not going to answer the guesses until Halloween! But until then, guess away if you like!

The hardest thing would be picking just one list to read from! They're all great books. :)
Hope everyone has fun with this and has a very scary Fall.

I know you are not! lol I have to wait till Halloween! :) But just so you know I think I am pretty close! lol :) Being friends with the mods on here makes it easy when you put challenges up like this as everything all of you read comes across my feed!! LMAO! :)

You can run, but you can't hide! LOL ! :)

message 34: by Elke (new)

Elke (misspider) | 610 comments I won't even try to guess, as I don't know all of the mods, but I will follow this thread just to see the outcome.

My reading schedule is very tight right now (I'm determined to reduce my stacks), so I won't join this challenge, but I will definitely peruse the lists to find new titles.

That's great, thank you!
I haven't decided which list to pick, yet. But this sounds like a fun challenge for sure! I am trying to read 4 books. Hope I can do this, I failed terribly on last years Halloween challenge, lol.

Melanie | 1656 comments Marie wrote: "I am not going to be able to read the lists as I am booked up with books till the end of the year! However, I will throw my guesses in here and see how close or on target whichever the case may be ..."

I agree with Marie on this one and here's why...

1. Latasha because..vampires!

2. T.E.D. Klein and C.L. Grant on the list? Has to be Jon or Ken, I'm going with Jon.

3. 60% women authors? Easy, Bark.

4. Char loves her slow burn old school classics.

5. and 6. I wasn't sure between these 2, and I didn't want to 'cheat' and look at Wendy and Kimberly's books so I'm trusting Marie's judgement on those two.

7. Here's where we find out who the GR stalkers are, I may have followed some of Ken's recommendations in the past and may have looked through his 5 star reads and I may be a little bit jealous of all his 80's schlock horror with those awesome schlock horror covers......maybe but I'm not stalker!
