50.1. Bluemoon's Task: RISK: THE GAME OF WORLD DOMINATION
Great task Bluemoon! :) Would the red writing for the title, author's name, and blurb for this edition of
Death in the Andes by Mario Vargas Llosa be enough red to qualify for the South America portion of the task (it's set in Peru)? Thanks!
I'm not very good at colours on a screen--is
yellow enough for North America? I can't figure out whether it's yellow or beige.Alternatively, the blurb for
mentions talking to lawyers in Florida and attending the annual ball of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Is that sufficient proof of being located in the right continent? Thanks for your help :)

Yes that works.

For
I am unable to tell just how much of the book takes place in N. America. If you do read it and more than 50% takes place in NA you are fine but I can't tell just from the description as it also says that she travels to Britain also.Sorry
Hi again,I just chatted with Ursula, who finished
for a different task, and she said that most of the book is set in England, Switzerland and Ireland. The bits not in Europe (Afghanistan and New York) definitely don't add up to half. Would this work for the Europe task then, Bluemoon? Thanks :)

for Africa:
- orange flower on the cover
- top half of the cover
- orange stripe at bottom of cover/ may also work for Europe/blue if not 50% in Africa
How is this for Africa? The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran
The edging on the wing looks orange to me, but I wanted to be sure it's ok before using it for this task. Thanks!
Has anyone read
? Seems like it could work for either North America (yellow letters) or Europe (blue water). From the description it takes place in both places but wondering if anyone knows if it's more than 50% in one or the other. Thanks in advance.
I read it (and enjoyed it!). It does take place on both continents, but my memory is that it is more in Italy than in America. I can't give you a percentage, though.

Hi! I know I already got another book approved for Europe, but I think I want to do this one instead because it has more pages. Will
work? The text, saying "The Bestselling Author of..." in the middle is blue.
Sandy,This is a very challenging task. Does
have enough green in the elephant border to count for Asia? Thanks!
Hi,Can I get this approved for South America?
It says it takes place in an unnamed South American Country.
Also, this for Asia?
I'd say half of it takes place in Japan.
Thanks!

For Asia: Climbing the Mango Trees: A Memoir of a Childhood in India by Madhur Jaffrey.
There are green vines around the title (easier to see if you enlarge the cover photo). I'm reading this now and really enjoying it!

most of this takes place in the open ocean so I will have to say no to this one.
from the description it looks like this takes place in Australia but if 50% of it flashes back to China then it will work.
is not clear from the description how much takes place in New Zealand but if at least 50% is set there then it will work.
