ABANDONED. Poetry Book - Kipling's If?

Trying to track down a book from a friend's childhood (about 30 years ago).
All I have to go on is - Hard red cover, line drawings, contains Kipling's "If".

Any ideas?

Any idea if the book was new at the time, or vintage? Googling brings up a fair number of red hardcover Kipling books, such as:

She found it discarded in a kerbside trash pile, so no idea :(

If she found it kerbside, I'd go for the "vintage" thing and not a new edition. So, probably at least 10 years before she found it, so at a minimum, I'd say 40 year old edition.

Do she have any real memories of what the drawings looked like? I found this on a google image search. https://www.google.com/search?q=image...

If nothing there looks right, we can check other illustrators and see if we can find one that looks familiar to her.
