"I just... I'm not the one you should be worrying about right now." She says softly.
"I feel like I am... But I have no injuries..." She sighed and looked away, feeling like a bother. "It's nothing, though."
Tylia shook her head again, staying silent. She didn't want to take up anymore of Ric's time.
Tylia wiped some old tears from her eyes and focused on the waking girl, standing shakily.
Tylia hid behind Ric, peering at the people with nervous eyes. She didn't understand any of this, and felt useless and out of place. The poor girl was still shaking slightly, terrified.
((Hey, sorry, I never got the notification for this. Anyways, I was wondering if you would like to sorta restart this roleplay? I sort of sucked at roleplaying when we started, since this was literally my first goodreads 1x1. We would use the same characters and story and all, just reboot it, I guess. I like our story but would like to go through it again now that I know what I'm doing. If you don't want to, that's fine.))
((Thanks, I just was reading through our roleplay and it was a cringe fest whenever I read my replies. So, starting back at the library again?))
Tylia pulled her bag over her shoulder, glancing at the time as she hurried out of the college's library. She had gotten so distracted, staying much later than she should have. It was an understatement to say her brother was going to be angry, Tylia realized as she rushed through the halls. So lost in her predicament, she suddenly found herself quite a ways away from where she was supposed to be. Seeing a classroom light still on, she knocked cautiously.
"Yeah, sorry to bother you..." Tylia ran a hand through her hair nervously, dropping her hand down and fiddling with the diamond ring on her finger. It was all she had left of her parents, and she never took it off.
((I gotta go to bed, I already stayed up later than planned. Night.))
"Just the parking lot. I..." Tylia glanced at the clock and muttered a swear. "I really need to get home."
