Tylia glances down. "It's f-fine. I'm used to it." She suddenly hides her wrists, self-conscious about the scars Locke left.

Locke sits on the trashed couch, trying to fight against Ric's influence. Tylia nods shakily, still backing up, uncomfortable in the house.
"Can we... Can we leave?" Tylia trembles slightly, the blood still trickling slowly on her wrist.
"Okay..." Tylia was too frightened to argue. ((I'm watching the doctor who episode "Listen" for the first time))
Tylia stands there, the blood on her wrist drying, still dazed.
"I... Yeah. Sure." She swallows hard, sitting on a chair.
Tylia reaches out with a shaky hand and takes it.
The blood has dried on her wrist. She sits silently.
"I... Don't really have anything besides the life with my... Brother." Tylia shakes slightly.
She closes her eyes, sighing shakily. ((Continuing to watch doctor who))

((Didn't mean to send))...with a shaky hand, and curls into a ball on the chair.
She trembles, all the memories she had suppressed of her brother coming into her mind.
Tylia flinches at Ric's touch, still thinking of Locke, but then slowly relaxes.
Tylia doesn't respond, biting her lip to hold back tears. She was 23 now, she can't cry, she shouldn't cry.
She shakes her head. "I can't. I never can." Tylia flinches as she remembers how Locke got worse if she cried.
"Locke said..." Her voice breaks and she stops talking.
Tylia chokes down a sob, whimpering slightly.
A few tears slide down her cheeks. "Wh-Why?" She questions.
"N-No... Why are y-you helping me..."
"I'd gotten used to my brother... I was fine..." She takes a shaky breath.

Tylia shook her head. Six years of the abuse had caused her to start believing the insults her brother had shouted while attacking her.
"But he looked out for me. He made sure I followed the rules." She whimpers softly as she remembers some of the worst days.
Tylia trembles, trying to hide all of the scar she has gathered over the years. Her sleeve slides down at one point to reveal a ragged scar on her shoulder, but she quickly hides it. "He's my guardian. He has a right to."
"He does..." Or at least that what he tells her, everyday, when he gets our of control, he reaches for her scarred body and slams it.
((That sounds great! How should it happen?))Tylia shakes her head.

((Sounds good. Sorry, I fell asleep.))Tylia shakes her head again. "Could I...." She sighs. "Could I go for a quick walk? I'm still... Confused."
She stands and rushes to the door. "I'll be right b-back."
She hugs herself as she walks down to the sidewalk. It felt like someone was watching her, but she was too distraught to pay much attention.
Tylia shouted, startled. However, she was too dazed and weak from dealing with her brother, she doesn't even fight back, whimpering in pain.
Tylia grows pale, her hole body trembling, tears streaming down her face. She felt dizzy and weak, near collapsing.
Tylia slides to the ground, one hand over the wound in her neck, whimpering. She watches with fear.
Tylia trembles, her eyes wide and filled with fear. The lack of blood combined with the over excitement combined gets to her, and she slumps forward, fainting.
Tylia starts to have the nightmares that have plagued her since her brother started beating her, whimpering in her sleep.
Her brother was beating her, calling insults as he tortures her. Tylia was sobbing, unable to hear Ric.
Tylia looked up at Ric, shaking. She was covered in cuts and bruises.
Tylia nods shakily, scared, and squeezes her eyes shut. The dream ends, and she bolts awake.
"Wh-What happened?!" She curls into a ball, shaking.
Tylia stares at Ric with a slight fear, but also appreciation. Finding out that she had done something like what he explained for her, she found it hard to be afraid.
She buries her head in her knees, overwhelmed.
"I'm s-so c-c-confused..." With what had happened with her brother, and now this, she whimpered.
