About adding a book

Hi! I am not a librarian but i have the chance to add a book if i dont find it on goodreads. If i do so, is there any difference with having a librarian adding the book? Thanks

No. No difference.

If you have the cover make sure you add it while adding the book or soon after. If you make a mistake you have just a few hours to fix it, after that just post in book issues & explain the problem :)
