Have you ever wondered your own ranking of the series that you read?
I did and made a system to evaluate my read series of fantasy and science fiction. Here it is. How is your lists?

Oh this is hard! I haven’t really finished many series but those I bothered (or was able) to read completely I really like for the most part, so these are just degreesnor
Shades of 4-5 star books for me.

I’m realizing that I haven’t finished a lot of series that I would like to, so they didn’t make it on my list above:

Don’t care so much about Harry Potter, but I expect I’ll finish it sooner rather than later, since my son is reading the one next in line for me.

I don’t really consider the Hainish cycle a series at all. They are so very vaguely linked by the government that ties them all together, but that’s the only thing.

I have read many series over the years and have no idea how I'd rank them. I rarely like a series equally throughout, so this spoils it for me (for example, I read the first three Gormenghast novels when there were only three--loved the first two but disliked the third.) But there are far more series I haven't finished. Then there are some I loved the first time and didn't care for as an adult or later on, such as the Narnia books.

With that, I am going to have to pass overall. One series I liked equally throughout was Beth Revis' Across the Universe series, but I was reading a lot of y/a with my kids back then.

I thought this would be easy until I started listing! I honestly don't know how to rank them in any sort of scientific or logical way, the only measure I used to choose these was that feeling when you finish a book where you think you might go slightly feral if you can't get the next one.

This is interesting, I never thought of making my own ranking. This tentative one is based purely on how fondly I remember the books:

As you can see, I love middle grade fantasy books. I wanted to include a few series I am currently reading but I don't know how I feel about them as whole yet:

Oh wow I haven't thought about the Cirque du Freak series in a long time. I fell HARD for those a a teenager.

I've been rereading them this year. I first got them on spanish as a teen and now I am listening to the audiobooks in their original version. I love them.

Sure! Let me know what mood you're in and I can point you in a direction. Lackey is incredibly productive and she spans a lot of spaces.

Skimming these lists, CBRetriever started mine. Take out Lord of the Rings (tried 3 times to read it and gave up every time), replace with Wheel of Time, not familiar with Indigo but agree with the rest and add these:
