I'm on the waiting list for it from my library and I should be getting it really soon, but I can't say for sure when. I do know I'm the next person to get it, and it shouldn't be more than a week or so.

I'm ready anytime. Should I request a Mod to start a thread for us? I think since it's informal we can use any date and then just jump into the discussion whenever we're ready. Do either of you have a preferred date? So far, we have 3 - Madge, Ashley Marie, and me.

That is fine with me

I will join the BR for The Alienist too, it's been on my tbr for far too long. I'm good for around the end of this month.

Is anyone interested in starting these some time in the next week or so? There's already a thread for Slow Regard, so it's a revisit.

Megan from Wind Dancers (and anyone who would like to join us) will be reading them. Thanks!

I'm looking with interest at this title to start in a week (or maybe 2). Is anyone interested in joining me for this one?
I'm not much for Oprah, but this one is intriguing.

starting tomorrow if we could have a buddy read thread set up?
Anyone else interested or needing a short book with good reviews for a dual read-a-thon challenge is welcome to join!

I've heard great things about The Language of Flowers. Late Feb?

Renee - I would read Afterworlds with you. That looks good!

Sure. I've started The Language of Flowers already, so I can post spoilers and join in again when you're ready.

Oh this one does look really good, would 3 weeks be pushing it out too much?

Three weeks is fine by me!

I have a copy of Afterworlds from the library for the next 4 weeks, when do you want to start?

Could we change the Dead Witch Walking

Thanks so much and I apologize in advance if anyone has already made the request. : )

I don't think we have a thread for that. Do you know who/when you are reading with? We can set one up

Everyone is welcome to join us for The Hollows Series Read. A few are still reading Dead Witch Walking and a few are several books ahead, so drop on by no matter where you are in the series! I think most of us are starting the 2nd book in February. Hope to see you there!

Can we have a thread set up for

Start date: February 8
Participants: Emma, Leslie, Myself and anyone else brave enough to join!
Just FYI - These are pretty intense for detective/murder mysteries and are also shelved as "Horror." The first book was extremely well written and engaging, but the violence is very graphic. Just FYI.

She shouldn't have posted it while I was sleeping. :P

I know. I got to 4th in series, but I don't think they are really more gruesome than others of same type (think Cornwell, Gerritsen, Reichs,...).
