Hi Srividya! I started listening to the audiobook yesterday, 12 November. I'm currently on disc 5 of 14 (just started chapter 18), so I suppose I'm going at a decent pace. You're definitely welcome to join the discussion, the more the merrier!

Wish I could get my hands on that Freddie Mercury book, Mary:HDLS. I love him. When I did a search for that, my library database showed a book Elton John wrote about HIV/AIDS and his experiences with friends who contracted it, as well as his foundation's fight against it. I think I'll read that sometime next year, since I can't read the Freddie book. If I decide to do a BR for it, I'll post here.

Just an FYI - the old Buddy read thread has discussion questions. It doesn't matter to me - but it might give away some of the book to us by seeing some of the questions/answers.....just a thought

I'm glad you'll be joining us, Melissa! Yes, usually the mods put up a post in the thread so that everyone knows that is where the new comments begin and you don't read anything before that post. I definitely won't go back and read the comments until I've finished the book.

I'm starting Accidents of Marriage either today or tomorrow. If anyone happens to have some time and would like to read it with me, I'd be up for a buddy read. It seems like a book that would be good to discuss. Sorry there wasn't much notice. I am supposed to review it and almost forgot to schedule it in with all the other buddy reads I signed up for!

Hmm. I might not have to wait as long as I though for Blood Magick. When I searched my library before they had 1 edition listed with a very long hold list. But I just looked again and now there are several editions. So I just got in more lines for a copy.

Mary - 1 library I looked had a wait time of 88 days but then I looked at another library as well and it was much shorter. Thank goodness for multiple libraries!! We will wait for you to get a copy.
