Alright, so you're okay with the incredibly vague plot that I set out? Would you mind if we hash it out a little more before we get to characters?
Yeah I'm fine with it. I have actually wanted to do something like this for a while
So have I. A lot of people complain about it being cliche, but it isn't cliche for me since I've never been able to actually do it with anyone. I say we start with the simple stuff first. I'm thinking along the lines for ages being between 18 and 22-ish.
Yeah that's the same with me. I mean I have started it a few times and it's gotten pretty far into it but then school and stuff gets in the way. Yeah that sounds perfect to me
I started one once and it hardly went anywhere then my partner disappeared, so that was kind of a bummer. It's been like that whenever I tried to start one up.Okay, so they're basically college age then. Any ideas on how they know/hate each other?
We could do a kind of Romeo and Juliet type thing where. Their families are friends or something and then something happens and they don't talk anymore?
That could definitely work. As long as, you know, they don't end up committing suicide ^_^ We should probably figure out what the "something" is.

Something with the parents maybe. Like, they all worked together and one family screwed the other family over and it turned into a huge mess for the screwed over family?
Yeah that's a good idea. Like their fathers grew up together and started a business and one of them did something stupid and the other had to clean up the mess

That sounds good :) I say after they issue, the business splits up. Which side do you want to be on? The one who messes it up or the one who cleans it up? (Sounds like an easy choice ^_^)

Alright then :) Okay, so. We figured out why they should hate each other. How well are they gonna know each other? Should it have happened while they were kids so they were friends when they were little, but then they stopped seeing each other, their parents put ideas into their heads and now they know each other's names and who they are, but they don't really interact?
Yes it's like you can read my mind.. I was going to suggest that and I was going to start typing it out while you replied so. I think that they should basically just know some of the details that happened while they were younger probably up until they were like 9 or 10 and then they don't see each other and they just know names and that the other family is awful
Alrighty then :) So how it isn't really that they hate each other, just that they know they should stay away from the opposing family. How R&J would this be? Like they don't see each other for years and don't recognize each other until they find out their names?
Yeah probably but also if they are that old they would be able to probably hate the other just because they are doing what their parents did you know?
Yeah, that would make sense. So let's say, it's the first day of the school year, they end up in the same class together. They don't recognize each other but then they hear each other's names and they hate one another without really knowing them.
Yeah that's perfect and then like they go thru a little bit of the school year and then they have to work on some project for the class and they had to work together on it
Sounds like a plan to me :) Allows a little wiggle room, too. Alright. Do you have anything else you want to figure out?
Yeah we can always change something if it's not working out. No not really.. Oh should they both be in college or be seniors in high school or what?

Sure!Leona slipped into the lecture hall to find it nearly empty. Why would they waste such a huge space on a class so small? The door falling shut behind her, she made her way down towards the front of the class. Her brother had advised her to sit as close as possible for every class, that way she wouldn't miss a thing.
James sighed a little not looking forward to sitting in a class room filled with freshman. He opened the door and walked in going to sit in the middle of the classroom like he normally did in all of his other classes. He looked around and frowned a little only seeing a few people in the room.
Having a notebook and an assortment of pens at the ready, Leona was a little disappointed when she found that the professor wasn't even in the hall. After consulting with her phone and schedule, it seemed there were still several minutes before class started. Screwing her lips to the side, Leona turned in her seat a little to take a look at her classmates, there were only two other brave souls in the front row, though they were several seats away from her. The rest of the meager students were scattered throughout the hall, one in the back, hardly visible, and a few seated sporadically in the middle. She counted 12 students in all.
James had set his books and notebook on his desk after he had walked into the room. He looked seeing the few students that were there and noticed three that were sitting up front. He shook his head a little and grabbed his phone to play a game to pass the time before class started
