I think this book is a memoir, the plot I remember is a girl with anorexia adopts or takes in a sick cat/kitten and finds healing from her eating disorder in feeding and caring for the cat back to health

I didn't read it but I read the back at a book store I used to work at. that isn't the book but thank you :(

I worked this year, I think the cover had a photo of a girl on it and it was I believe it was an adult memoir

Haven't read this and the reviews don't mention a cat, but these are a few anorexia-recovery memoirs with a photo of the author (or some girl) on the cover.
