Jim (jimmaclachlan) That's a really good list, Trike. I still need to read a few of those.

I'll add This Immortal, Damnation Alley, I Am Legend are standalones.

E.E. Knight has a really good series called 'Vampire Earth' that starts with Way of the Wolf. The vampires aren't Dracula types, but something from another dimension & they don't really suck blood.

William R. Forstchen has a good trilogy that's straight SF. Today, EMP bombs leave us with no electric & this is what happens One Second After.

Robopocalypse is pretty self-explanatory. There's at least one sequel.

Octavia E. Butler's Patternmaster books go from pre to post apocalyptic.

A Matter for Men is the first in the War Against the Chtorr. I really liked the first book or two, but not the last couple. Too much talk. There's a sort of prelude trilogy, too.

There's a lot more, if you need them.

A new book mid-apocalypse is The Migration by Helen Marshall.

Sorry on the app so no links.
