I started the prologue last night when I couldn't sleep, so far so good :) nice writing style.

(view spoiler)[Mason (Jude) sure is an enigma. He's like a decent human most of the time, but then at times when Shaun said the guy Cal should be looking for is Mason...I dunno. It was definitely Shaun the dead girl left the club with...but was Mason involved?? He knew about the body in the trunk in the storage room and made it seem like Shaun didn't!

The tone of this book I definitely wasn't expecting. Survival story slash creepy thriller. I like it though! (hide spoiler)]

Really enjoying the book so far!

I'm really enjoying this so far! Just finished chapter 14

(view spoiler)[ I can't tell whether Mason will turn out to be a good guy in the end...obviously he's been involved in a robbery, but he didn't kill the police officer and he didn't shoot the park ranger, and he didn't want to hold Britt and Korbie hostage. Also I wonder if Calvin will show up? Shaun seems like he's having a bit of a breakdown at the moment with all his panicking and shooting people! I'm also really curious about Lauren who was in that bit at the beginning of the book...did Shaun kill her? (hide spoiler)]

I finished this morning and I really enjoyed it although there were bits that were a bit odd!

(view spoiler)[ I guessed that it was going to be Calvin who killed Lauren and the other girls when Mason/Jude was talking about how much he loved his sister. Especially after Calvin shot Shaun. He did turn pretty psycho!! I liked the book but it was odd how she just forgave him for kidnapping her! (hide spoiler)]

Finished. (view spoiler)[ Okay I was right about Calvin, how could have Britt been so blind as to how horrible he was to her? The more memories she had the more of an ass he seemed. Did he only want her to take her away from his sister? A competition he could win? I'm not really convinced on his reason for killing the girls, it's a little sketchy. I know people have killed for less but that's usually not premeditated.

Finished too! Definitely was leaning toward (view spoiler)[Jude being involved in the murder somehow. Wasn't expecting Lauren to be his sister! Had a bad feeling about Cal early on but couldn't decide if he was going to get drawn into that murder plot or was just struggling with the family issues subplot. (hide spoiler)]

Pretty crazy book! Had me on the edge of my seat a bunch of times, heart racing. Glad to see you guys liked it a lot too!
