Speaker for the Dead question

It isn't what I'd classify as an "exciting" book. It is definitely very different in tone from Ender's Game and is much more of a thinker. But this book and the sequel (Xenocide) raise interesting questions about humanity, sentience, and race. Personally, I enjoyed both of them, but I still wouldn't call them "exciting" or even "action packed."
