I'm a bit confused which edition of this is correct as my 1001 app says its 450 pages and my kindle copy is 101 pages...can someone help me please!!

Yes. The 12 stories listed there were the original stories published as the collection The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Subsequent editions have printed more or less drawn from the 36 stories that make up the Holmes canon, but the original 12 will presumably be the focus of the discussion this month.
