I'm not sure why they wouldn't be books. We allow as books knit or crochet pattern books. We pretty much allow to be a book anything published on a Kindle, if I'm not mistaken. So one knit or crochet pattern on a Kindle is just a subsection of a pattern book.Personally I don't like the way these look - they informality of them, the way the author's name and some of the titles are not capitalized - but a lot of the "books" from Wattpad are just as bad and informal looking, and those are allowed.
Many of those descriptions for the first author have problems, though - links to Facebook are not allowed.
The reason I thought maybe they weren't books is because in this thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... I asked. See the third entry in #3, someone went in and changed them to NAB. I didn't do it but when I came back to see the comments it was done. It said https://www.goodreads.com /author/list/7430002.Mother_Bee_Designs?page=1&per_page=30 (I separated that out so it wouldn't just be a link-- we can see all the words)
A musical score on a Kindle that is only 2-3 pages IS considered a book. (As are all musical scores.)I'm not really seeing how a stitch pattern on a Kindle is substantively different.
