rules for translation of a specific edition

I'm getting ready to add a new edition of this book. It's a swedish translation of the latest edition of the RPG.

Do I just make a new edition to the original book from 1981 and refer to that this is a translation of the 7th edition of this book? (important when it comes to games..)

The 7th edition is also an edition of the 1981-book
