I'm reading Last Girl Gone: A Laura Chambers Mystery and am at about 50%. I'm enjoying it! Its a crazy fast read with a good pace, and the lead females are total rockstars :)

I received this one in March before it was released but it was a bit long and as I read many at one time, I just finished this gem. This may have been long but I did not notice it at all. The story never slowed down and I often looked up and I had read myself into 3:00 AM ! The book was a NetGalley called Girls Burn Brighter .
I just finished it last night and it will be a big book this year !

Canadian author David Chariandy has already won an award for Brother, his story of Trinidadian migrant brothers and their struggling mother in Canada. Well worth a look.

Rusty The Squeaky Robot is a cute new children's picture book by Neil Clark that shows how very different "people" can join together to make a joyful NOISE!

Now I'm reading Something In The Water and after a slow start, I'm completely hooked :)
In her new book West: A Novel, author Carys Davies takes a man obsessed with finding the giant creatures he's heard about on a long, dangerous journey, leaving his little girl at home.

I am reading The Gravediggers' Bread
by Frédéric Dard. It is one of Pushkin Vertigo's reprints of a mid-century classic noir mystery, and has a mid-June release date.
Got to my second oldest Netgalley title I have left today. Only 9 already published titles to go and then I only have future titles! So happy to slowly be chipping away at that backlog.A Christmas Day at the Office by Matt Dunn

Yes, it's definitely quite a a bit paranormal and horror as well as a mystery and thriller! Maybe also a little bit romance!
I’m reading Don't Eat Me by Colin Cotterill, and it’s exactly what I needed in a novel, given some family upheaval. It’s always nice when my NG arcs match my mood.

Vanita Oelschlager has another little Read-Now book, Knees: The mixed up world of a boy with dyslexia. Dyslexia didn't stop lots of famous people from doing great things! Cartoons and simple text for kids.

Simply wonderful! Get it! Available until July. The author says "For everyone who misses someone." Joseph Coelho's gorgeous children's picture book If All the World is about a young child and Granddad and . . . remembering Granddad.

Just finished Mick Herron”s London Rules, his latest visit to the Slow Horses of Slough House. Still an entertaining bunch of demoted (“demented”?) spooks.
