I enjoyed Mick Herron’s third book in the Slough House series, Real Tigers. More fun and games (and rough and tumble) with the demoted spies, the Slow Horses.

Oh my gosh. I'm about 20% into Baby Teeth And I LOVE it. It is so so good. I had forgotten what it was about, after adding it to my Kindle, so I started reading and thought "my this is a lovely contemporary story about dealing with hard things". And then I hit about 15% and thought "nope. nope nope nope. This is a horror story". SO So GOOD
Former Australian Foreign Minister Gareth Evans recently wrote Incorrigible Optimist: A Political Memoir about Aussie and international politics and diplomacy since his student days in the 60s. Enjoyable, informative, and still optimistic!

I'm currently reading The Stars Now Unclaimed
and after an initial struggle I think I am getting into it! Despite bad formatting on the kindle version... :)
I’m reading What Did I Do? by Jessica Jarlvi. I’m determined to finish it, but the writing is truly dreadful, to the point where it’s a distraction from her cardboard and unrelatable characters and meandering plot. So there’s that.
I just finished reading The Beatles on the Roof
and gave it 4 stars. Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Claim Me, Cowboy (Copper Ridge: Desire, #4) by Maisey Yates

Are you like me getting a little tired of 3 star books?
Hi, Dorie- Yes, I guess you could say that! I requested too many books, digging deep on NetGalley when my requests were at a standstill, being ignored. Then I got a little bogged down for May. Out of the several books I have to read for May, I'm only excited about one of them that I really, really wanted to read. To me, 3 stars is a book I liked, so I don't consider it a bad thing. However, it also means that if I wasn't reading it for NetGalley, I might have dropped it. 4 stars I really liked it and 5....I love it!

Too many, I wasn't paying attention :(
The Angel Makers
74% done Been a good book. This is the 2nd in the series and first one really should be read first.

Very much enjoyed Memento Park by Mark Sarvas. Searching for his family's connection to a painting reveals more about Matt's own connections with his family. Good read!
