It is crazy hard to find new books NOT in a series nowadays. I'm trying to avoid that for August (since we have so many already started).

I totally agree! I already have so many series going. Stand alone would be good. Unchained or The Good Girl I think both are singles.
Both are older. But I am not having a lot of luck on new books either
