Authors in Alphabetical Order - oddity

When I list My Books in alphabetical order The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt always appears at the end, after "z". This strikes me as most odd.

Is this correct?

Not for me. sorted Z to A, it goes deWitt, Zelazny!

Mine too Phil. It's the small d that throws the system. If it were de Witt or DeWitt there'd be no problem. Just the way it is at the moment.

But that is not the correct name Maya. We can't just change an author name to make the list work.

Changing the author's name to an incorrect form is not the solution: unfortunately, we have to wait till GR finds a solution

It will hopefully get fixed at the same time as the other issues with author alphabetization.

Meanwhile, there is nothing librarians can do to fix it that -- nothing that doesn't cause other problems, anyway.
