EDIT: Now I'm seeing that the paperback released in November... talk about staggered releases...

It's available on audio, now... I've been checking multiple times per week, and nothing... then it has the gall to act as if it's been available on Audible since November 14th...

At least it's cheap... only $9.16... slightly cheaper than a credit...

So, I'll be here in the next day or 2... just in time for the BR ;)

I really appreciated how fast this book got started and waded straight into business. Also the humourous touch with the opening memo nice

(view spoiler)[Irene and Kai may be in a heist storyline, but that whole shark part felt totally like James Bond to me.

As for the team dynamics, I am wary of Indigo provoking Kai into doing something hasty. The world they are in feels dangerous in a different way - more systematic and thorough.

I wonder how long the treaty will last. It's surprising that so many Fae had not even heard of it, but I suppose that was impossible given their chaotic nature (hide spoiler)]

I love this series... each book tells a good standalone story while building layers onto the ongoing narrative...

I love how each book can be in a different genre and time period...

This one also lulled me into a false sense of security, given everything Irene has accomplished with her Words in the past...

It's going to be really interesting to see where the series goes next... (view spoiler)[it seems like the treaty is important, and hopefully will last a long time, but it's still fragile, and is only going to be more fragile if Irene and others keep discovering dangerous dragon secrets... I really liked this one.

I did feel that the end was a bit over written with too much happening at once though.
