Oh, I missed that post - like more of us... ;)

message 55: by Jonel (new)

Jonel I'm not sure where the 3 came in, except or the fact that the Vampire diaries & Secret circle books are duologies, so depending on how you look at it they're 1 or 2 books.

Picking 2 and giving the other participant a choice is definitely fine, however since there are a few regular participants with only a couple of books on their shelves, we are only requiring 1 pick this month.

:D

message 57: by Elsbeth (new)

Elsbeth (elsbethgm) And since we all plan to read all the books on the shelves we put in this challenge, 1 should be enough - it will always be one we want to read! ;)

Trinity | 87 comments Kara wrote: "I read Odd Thomas.. it was so good!"

I have heard that from a few people. For years, I am sad to admit, I confused Dean Koontz and Robin Cook. I tried to read 2 Robin Cook books and did not like them. Somehow I got it in my head that those books were written by Dean Koontz. Long story short, I ended up reading something that was actually DK and was really confused. When I checked goodreads I realized all these years I had them confused... LOL

Trinity | 87 comments WattpadBookReader has still not picked for me but Tammie did.

message 76: by Jonel (new)

Jonel I noticed that Kara. I was hoping it was a one time thing.

Is anyone else still missing their books?

message 77: by Sandra (new)

Sandra | 114 comments I believe i was supposed to pick for Alex but i havent received a reply or a message from her i believe. Although someone has picked their choices for me. I was just beginning to think if Alex had no longer wanted to do this challenge or was too busy to do it

message 78: by Jonel (new)

Jonel Ok, let me summarize to make sure I have this correct.

WattpadBookReader, Alex, and Aarati seem to be MIA this month now.

Trinity, WattpadBookReader was to pick for you, but Tammie did, did you want another book.

Destiny, you've yet to pick for someone.

That sums it up correct?

So if WattpadBookReader makes a pick tonight then...

Destiny still needs to pick for someone & someone needs to pick for WattpadBookReader (hmmm...... I see an easy fix here).

For the sake of expedience, here's a short list from her chosen shelf:

Brew (Salem's Revenge, #1) by David Estes Spirit Gate (Crossroads, #1) by Kate Elliott Innocence by Dean Koontz Paper Towns by John Green A March of Kings (The Sorcerer's Ring, #2) by Morgan Rice Initiate (The Unfinished Song, #1) by Tara Maya Black Hills by Nora Roberts

message 84: by Trinity (new)

Trinity | 87 comments Either way is fine with me. I was going to just read two but if it works out better for them to pick for each other that is fine as well.

message 91: by Laura (new)

Laura Finished You're Next. For the first 3/4's of the book, it was quite an exciting read. Then it changed at the end and became so far-fetched and boring. Still, I ended up giving it 3 stars for the first part anyway.

I agree about the far-fetched. I felt the same way. I wish authors wouldn't do that.

message 93: by Laura (new)

Laura Marcia, overall I really did like the book (especially the beginning, I didn't want to put it down). I think that is why I was disappointed with the ending. And I will definitely be on the lookout for more of his books. Have you read any of his others?

message 94: by Trinity (new)

message 97: by Trinity (new)

Trinity | 87 comments Paper Towns by John Green was sadly quite horrible :/

message 98: by Trinity (new)

Trinity | 87 comments I think it's because I wanted it to be as good as The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and it just isn't. Not even close.

message 99: by Sandra (new)

Sandra | 114 comments I finished fated and it was pretty good. Starting Starters now

message 100: by Sandra (new)

Sandra | 114 comments I finished Starters and I liked it better than Fated. Starters had a slower start but I really liked it by the end
