I started the year trying for 50 and made it to 66 so far. I think 75 could still happen.

This weekend I finished Ficciones by Jorge Luis Borges. I could feel myself getting smarter with each page. But ended up not being smart enough. I looked up more words in this book than any other I have ever read. What an interesting guy he is.I also finished The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. this was a fascinating read that I really enjoyed.

Getting close. But 5 of the books on my immediate horrizon are all 1000+ pages. Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult was a well written and thought provoking piece. I really enjoyed this one.
The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin was a little silly but fun none-the-less.

I just finished Girl with Green Eyes by Edna O'Brien. Somebody said that this book was better than book one of the trilogy. I totally agree. So much more depth.73/75
74. The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky - I definitley got more from The Brothers Karamazov this go-round than I did in highschool.75. Dreamcatcher by Stephen King - Not my most favorite King book, but very fun nonetheless
76. Night Fall by Nelson DeMille - A fiction about a real event. So the author had to lead a certain direction for the ending. Whether he did that well is open for debate.
