Detective\Suspense novel. This book had a lot going on. The book starts out with a crazed man taking a pregnant woman hostage. The detective shoots him, but the wound is superficial and he ends up going into a coma anyway. The plot then focuses on an Irish prisoner who escapes prison with the help of a very wealthy man. There was a daring helicopter escape, a chase through a forest for the Irish prisoner, the President's chief of staff being blackmailed because his son was framed for a murder.
