I’m trying to remember a book I read sometime between 2008-2011, bought new so in print around then, from the Tate gift shop.
The cover was pale green I think, with really intricate beautiful illustrations(they’re what I bought the book for). I remember there being a playlist written in the book, maybe including the ramones? The plot was about a family living in some kind of walled in area in a dystopian world, someone left and went scavenging for junk, maybe a motorbike/gang of bikers involved. It was all written in a very fan fiction/Mary Sue/not very good imo kind of way, I think the family had magic powers, someone probably had violet eyes, lots of description of people’s outfits etc.

the book was a hardcover edition, no dust jacket, and It was square or maybe slightly landscape in shape.
