THE TRAHERNS series has about a dozen books included. Periodically a different book in the series will be offered for free. I own most of them, because I just grab them as they become available. I'm not sure, but I think they are all told in the first person, which for me, is a negative. Yet still, the couple I've read weren't bad.
THE LADY SUBMITS is pure erotic. Hot, but not a lot of substance. I read it and liked it for what it was. It's a nice sweet treat. LOL HER VIKING LOVERS is also an erotic romance. I've never read that one, though.
THE COLOR OF IVY sounds really good. It's a western about a bounty hunter is on the trail of a murderess...yes, the h is an alleged murderess.
HIGHLAND SORCERER sounds fantastic. The H is a Highland sorcerer who travels to the future to find a healer. Enter our heroine, who heals him, then she falls back in time with him to the 13th century. I think I'm gonna read this one right after I finish my book for review.
FYI, I read MAIL ORDER MILLIE. It's been a while, but I remember thinking it was too much on the preachy side. I think I gave it 3 stars.
Well I think that's it for today, ladies. Today is going to be a cleaning day for me--I've gotta get my house in order. Well it is in order, but it does need cleaning. I also plan to start my book for review later this afternoon. I wanna have the review done by tomorrow. EB, mine is a contemporary too, but it's a paranormal romance. The H is a tiger-shifter. ROAR! RF~ She's the one who told me. LOL! I remember she loved it and so I wanted to read it and just as I started to get into it she did her review an wanted me to read it. When I was done and said I liked it with a couple exceptions (nothings ever perfect) she harassed me.

BTW to any one interested on Saturday November 1st they are having a chance to speak with authors and get free books in Historical Romance. I saw Julie Anne Long and some other great looking books. I know right. I fought it for so long and another reviewer and member Aspoon talked me into it. I went on there back in July and she tagged me and hooked me up with all he free stuff. Now we tag each other when we see a giveaway. It's a lot of fun and when you get bored or not I the mood just log off or ignore. LOL

The funny thing is Noreen, is that it's not the actual hair that is gross, it's the way the author describes it. The words I used were exactly as they were printed in the story. I dunno why she thought that description made the man-god sound appealing. I mean, shaggy, thicket, matted, and coarse? Really?

Exactly! That definitely took away from the sexiness of the scene!!!! ROTFL. I mean she could've said that he was covered with beautiful, silky hair, that was soft to touch or some such. LOL. I read a paranormal erotic romance where the H had scales and the way the author describes him made him sound beautiful! But really, scales? Beautiful? Yup she managed to do that!!

Re Giveaways--Do yo gals ever try the Goodreads giveaways? I won about 6 in the past year. The only thing is they're paper. Not that long ago I thought I would never like anything better then a paper book and now I prefer kindle. I guess you can teach an old dog no tricks.
I never got around to Intimate Deceptions. I got sidetracked and read Langdon's Silent revenge instead.The H whined through practically the whole book about how he didn't trust women because his fiancee broke his heart. She ran off with his father. Who could blame her? He was fun. The son was a drip. I would have ran off with the father. I hate men that whine. I still gave it 3.5 stars though because I liked the ending.

Kate~ How does their contests work? The books I won were paperback too. I don't mind it. It's funny though I've gotten so use to my Kindle that switching to a regular book I caught myself pressing the side of the page with my thumb and then realize I just flip it. LOL! Quite ridiculous but funny.

To be honest I'm not even sure it was that bad. But it was that bad for me. Let's face it if you like the couple you can overlook quite a bet. But if you don't you start picking it apart. I just didn't like the H.

Ladies, be aware that Moonless if the first of a continuing series. I assume this book ends in a cliffhanger, although I can't be positive. However, based on my quick review of the second book, it certainly seems that way.

Haha That's so true, EB. FYI, I"m done with my book. I still have to review it, but Natalie is camping and said she'd see the review in a couple days when she gets back. So, I guess there's no rush. I liked my book, but I'm happy my foray into present day is over with for now. I'm looking forward to going back in time again. LOL I actually bought a Highland romance today, The Highlander's Bride. It sounded good and was only .99 cents, so I couldn't resist. That's gonna be my next read. TTYL
BTW I read the ending of that freebie from the other day, Enchanted Hearts. It's a love triangle with the h having to choose between a faerie prince and a childhood friend. So, she chooses, of course, and is blissfully happy. But can I ask you HOW am I suppose to be happy when the story ends with the loser saying to her as he leaves..."take care of my heart"??? In that moment I wanted to cry, and I didn't even know the guy! Sigh

Yea I hear you. I did download a few of them. As a matter of fact, I think I had at least three of them from before, including the King-God one. I should read and review them all. They're short and easy to read. It's gotta be hard to break out into the book publishing world. I like to encourage new writers, especially if it appears that they put some effort into their work

The SHADES OF SEDUCTION is a set of two full-length erotic novels, with older heroines. From the blurb one is 41, I don't know how old the other heroine is.
The RUTHLESS title has a low rating, 2 stars, but I haven't read any of the reviews. I think it's by the same author who wrote MODEL HUSBAND and MODEL MASTER, so be aware.
You notice that we're starting to see more Christmas titles. There will be many more between ow and then, I'm sure.
The GOVERNESS serial novel is once again free in it's entirety. The last time I posted it, only two volumes and the novella were available for free. I can't remember which one wasn't free, if it was volume 1 or 2, so I'm posting all the volumes once again.
Please note that all the ONCE UPON A ROMANCE trilogy are available for free today! I've never read them, but I know that they are all loosely based on a fairytale...Cinderella, Snow White, etc.
