      Hoping to start in the next couple of days. Arrived this morning, I've just finished Eeny Meeny quarter of the way through the new Martina Cole.

      I'm just about half way through. I particularly liked the 'hook' at the beginning and am really enjoying it thus far, though there are one or two seemingly long reflective parts, which are presumably adding to what the reader needs to know for what is to come?

I particularly like the mix of first person (Jack Whelan) and third person (everyone else!). It's not a technique you see used very much, but I think it is very effective here! What does everyone else think?
