Horror read in the 90s but think it was published 70s or 80s. Think it was a sequel but I didn't read the first book. Man in wheelchair. Vengeful spirit after him. Title might have had something to do with a house or I may be remembering that wrong.

Hi thanks for replying. Eas set when it was written, so 70s or 80s. I think the cover had a house on it and I'm pretty sure the house was important. The spirit that haunted them and was trying to kill them I think may have been their nanny or something like that in the 1st book. I've never read the 1st book but I think events in that book put the main character in a wheelchair for this book. I'm pretty certain it was set in the states but I can't be more accurate I'm afraid.

I've read the synopsis and that doesnt sound like it. This was a family in a house and the guy was definitely in a wheelchair
