Personality issues can be considered as flaws that could interfere with his abilities. It's possible to add something to his history about an event that weakened him so now he is learning to regain his full abilities etc.

Well, I think that his breathing thing could be considered a weakness just as much as a strength. It can cause a lot of complications for him.

Some characters can't go out in the sunlight, some are affected by holy water, some can't touch silver. It could be simple but severe for him.

They don't have to be telling weaknesses- like something any character would directly notice- either. That would make it rather easy for villains to defeat them.

His powers need explained individually. You can look at another profile for examples of how to do so if you need.

His history needs to be longer and has to include how/ why he came to the school.

He has to be invited, born here, or 'rescued' which is kind of a general term. Some characters find the gate by chance while on a walk, are running from something or someone when they go through the gate, or crash land on Val'JaLon through another portal.
No one ends up on Val'JaLon purely by chance because it's location doesn't exist.
How he ended up here can be vague but it needs to be of that nature.
And you don't end up here if you don't want to be. You can't be rescued if you can't be 'saved'

The gate can be a physical iron gate that appears or a glistening portal.

To all my RPing friends- I'm sorry that I've been inactive after so long of being gone. My life has led me towards a new opportunity and I've decided to take it.

I was listening to forensic files in the background and they were talking about currents affect how far the body had went. and the announcer said
"her body was dumped PRETTY MUCH where she was found. and it didn't sound right for some reason

it happened again. I think its the strange inflections in randoms words.
like Mur-der and financial. for some reason he keeps putting strange emphasis on words.
