Matilda Svensson | 4 comments It was a teen/young adults book. I don't remember exactly when I read it but I'm pretty sure I was in highschool during this time (2012-2014).
So this girl lived in a small town either with her mom and grandmother or just her grandmother. She had two friends, one guy and a girl and they were pretty close I think I know I should provide plot details but I don't remember anything about the plot. So sorry about that. I remember three 'scenes' from the book.
In the first scene, her grandma just told her never to try anal-sex if a guy wanted to do that with her. She said that if guys wanted to have sex like that they should just do it with each other lol.
In the second scene, her grandma occupied the only toilet in the house and she just couldn't wait. So she rushed out in the backyard and peed in a bush. But when she was nearly finished, her grandma called her and was coming out (she wanted to go for a walk with her), so she quickly stopped peeing, stepped out of her underwear, kicked them away and stood up just in time. She wore a skirt btw. And then they went for their walk, and she wad very nervous about bumping in to her guy friend, or any guys at all since she had a skirt only, and not a very long one. But I think it went well.
In the third scenario, her best girl friend had extreme cramps (period cramps). She was crying lots and had a lot of troubles on her mind, so she rushed over to comfort her. They either met outside her house or went for a walk cause they bumped into their guy friend. When he saw her crying he was ofc a little concerned, but when they told him she had period cramps he got kinda put off /scared off and didn't wanna join in on the conversation. Like, he just excused himself and left them alone, saying guys aren't good at talking about period-related stuff.
I don't remember any names, and I'm sorry I don't remember any vital plot details. But one important detail, is that I actually read this book in Swedish, but it may exists in English too.
Can anyone please help me find this book?

Deleted duplicate thread. Please do not create duplicate threads for the same book - and the bump rule is 30 days because this group is so large.

Matilda Svensson | 4 comments Found it ^^ as usual on my own 🙄. For those of you who cared it was "Girl 16: Pants on Fire" by S. L.

You didn't have to be rude about it

I don't think that was her intent. Members will post the solution when they find the book themselves.

Matilda Svensson | 4 comments My tone, srsly? I did find it on my own like I always do so you can't hold that against me. And it sure didn't seem like anyone cared, so why should I give you any gratitude, hm?
If you want gratitude, help out and be nicer.

Ayshe | 4721 comments I did find the first two books I posted here about on my own, too. I think it's unrealistic to think that anyone who read the thread and knew the book would have thought: "I can't be nice today, I just won't post". It's more like the ones who read the thread didn't know the answer. We are large group, but not anyone reads all other threads (this one for example had 41 views, of which couple are mine).

Just because no one is posting comments doesn't mean people aren't trying to help you search for your book.

And you're not obligated to show gratitude, but it's less likely people will want to help you if you're ungracious.
