I apologize... I read it too quickly and missed where the author wrote "...wrote a book about what happened on Mykonos...". Sorry about that.

I'm not sure. But keep in mind, it could be a male author.

Also keep in mind that the author may have written a book, but that doesn't mean it was ever published.

I found a book with an unhappily married woman who goes to Mykonos with her sister, but the author is British: Under a Greek Spell

It's also possible that the author either used fictional details in the linked article, or in the book itself, to preserve their anonymity so the book may not necessarily match up with the article exactly.
