Salem's Lot: In Progress (No spoilers please)

I have read this book already, but would like to encourage others to read it. It's very good. I do want to mention that you can see it's one of King's earlier books, because the first 3 chapters (after the prologue) are pretty unpolished and initially put me off of reading the book. The writing does get alot better after that. So, don't decide if you like it or not until you've read past that.

I'm at the part where Susan and Mark are about to go into the house. I've read this before and I know what happens. (view spoiler)[ Susan's fate always just breaks my heart. (hide spoiler)] This is the section of the book where I get the most stressed out.

Still waiting on the library hold list for this one. A lot of people like this book in Portland! That must be why we named our capital city after it.

I read this over 20 years ago. I think it was my first Stephen King. I really should re-read it.
