Hi there super awesome Goodreads Librarian!

I need a new series added for 3 books I've added today to my profile. Can you add the series for me please?

It's the "Regulators MC" Series. And I'll need it added to both my profile (Jessie Lane) and to my co-author's profile (Chelsea Camaron)

The series doesn't come up on my Goodreads author profile or when you click on "my" series. It does show up for Chelsea Camaron's though. Is it possible for you fix it for my side?

Who is the primary author for each book? I.e., who is (going to be) listed first on the cover for each one?

Chelsea Camaron will be the first author listed on each cover. Is that why it only shows on her series page and not mine?

Before you got back to me, I took a guess and went with you first. I changed all three books so that you were first and Chelsea Camaron second. After I did that, the series page actually should have stopped showing up on hers and started showing up on yours, except that series are heavily cached and take a day or two to catch up on author profile pages.

However, since Chelsea will actually be first on the covers, I have since changed all 3 books to have her first. Now it's the opposite problem -- the series will appear on her page but not yours. Unfortunately, this is a limitations of the Goodreads database. For series with multiple authors, the series will only appear on the primary author's page (and only if the primary author is the same for all books in the series -- if author order changes, then the series doesn't appear on either author profile's series section).

Don't despair - the books will still be visible on BOTH author profiles, just not the series page. And the series page is always accessible from each individual book page.

FYI, this is a lot of guesswork and logical deduction on my part, so if any librarian reading this knows I'm saying something incorrect, feel free to pitch in.
