What are you looking forward to in Book 3??

Favourite scene? Definitely our little glimpse of everyone's favourite rove vampire.

Book 3: I can't wait to see Sophronia and Lord Akeldama interact more. An maybe we'll be closer to seeing who Sophronia will pick: Phineas or Felix.

I need this book now. November 4 is too far away. I need this like yesterday.

Finished this re-read last night.

Oh Gail, how I do enjoy your wit. I could not pick just one example as it is riddled throughout. I love the spirit of the opening scene in E&E B1. It really sets the mood for the entire series, of which, I adored reading.
I love this series and can't wait to consume book three. Please continue with Sophronia's journey through more than book three as she is intelligent, fun and interesting and could really do just about anything.

I just love the tiny snippets we get of the characters we already know from the Parasol Protectorate - Countess Nadasdy and of course Lord Akeldama. I, too, hope that we will see more of him in the last two books. He just makes any story better. ;)

I also have to say that I like Vieve a lot more as a child than as a grown-up. I found her a little taxing here and there in the Parasol Protectorate but I adore the little sh*** in the Finishing School series.

Kittie, that's exactly how I feel about Vieve as well. As an adult I find her a bit pushy but as a child it's precocious.

I can't wait to see how Akeldama woos Sophronia in W&W.
