These profiles are for the same author. In his earlier writings he used the initial "H". Now he does not. He has claimed the "James H. Pence" page, but his newer books aren't showing up there because they do not use the "H".

He wants to going forward write under the name "James Pence" without the "H" but doesn't want to lose his friends, etc. on the claimed profile.

I have asked him personally about this.

Re James H. Pence: Goodreads policy is to keep the more complete version of the name, so all his books are now under James H. Pence. If more are added under James Pence, they can easily be moved over to the James H. Pence by any librarian. Or post here if there are several such books and I can move them as a group.
