SOLVED. Middle Grade/YA Girl in old west/pioneer with a strange name written in 90s, girl's name in title

Read this book around 1999-2000 and I believe it was fairly new then. It centered around a girl in the old west or as a pioneer and I think she had a strange name. I unfortunately don't remember much of the plot points beyond that, but I *think* the title was two words and includes her name in the title. I'd say her name began with an H but I am always wrong when I say that. I feel like she was a bit of a weirdo, but I DON'T think it's the book Our Amelia May. I feel like it was stand alone. I know this isn't much but it's driving me crazy! Thanks!
