When Frank visits the morgue, he discovers there’s an unidentified body of a well-bred young woman who turns out to be Estelle Longacre and Black Jack Robinson’s girlfriend. What ideas formed to explain why a young woman from a society family would be immersed in this world?

I didn't form an opinion right away. I wasn't sure how the woman ended up in a trunk on the wrong side of town.

Frankly, I was baffled. What was she doing down there and why was she not considered missing by her family? I had an open mind and had to be informed by the progress of the investigation. No clue!

I didn't know what to think too. The trunk left in the middle of the street made any idea even more difficult to form.
