I joined a writers group on GoodReads over a year ago and it's sort of went silent. One of the threads that they had that I thought was promising was a section where writers could ask folks to check out their plot assumptions.
Is there anything like that here or can someone point me to a good one?
Some of my questions are medical in nature because I'm working on a book with those elements but other questions should be valid too.
Some that I posted before:
What year did soccer start becoming a popular high school sport in rural Michigan? Would a small town that didn't have soccer but did have football in 1984 read as unbelievable?
If someone gets a bone marrow transplant are they then tethered to a life-long course of drugs? How about an organ transplant?
Passing Drivers' Ed was required when I graduated from high school in Michigan 1974. I understand that it isn't uniformly required now, but do some schools still enforce that as a requirement?
