SOLVED. Mystery about a Mystery Writer trying to solve The Murder Of Librarians. [s]

This writer comes back to his hometown to write about a string of murders of librians that had taken place over servel years. He moves into the current librian's family cottage. While he is back home he and the librian hit it off and start seeing each other. While the write starts looking into the mystery he is writing about, he starts to piece together who his real father is. He is also interested kin the librian's sister's story, who had went 'crazy' and left her 'perfect life' leaving her husband and children behind. There is a part where he digs up the garden of the cottage, he goes reading old newspapers, and he visits his sister in the trailer that they had lived in as kids.
