Book 12 in the Original James Bond Series

You only live twice;
Once when you are born,
And once when you look death in the face.

James Bond visits the Orient. I liked that much of this book is a conversation explaining the customs in Japan and how different from the western world. This story centers on honorable suicide and Bond overcoming the tragedies in the previous bond book On Her Majesty's Secret Service and features an old nemesis.

Fleming continues to try different styles and evolve the story of bond. This was not one of my favorite though I do like Bond's vulnerability.
