Please help!!! I have googled plot and come up with nothing.
The book plot is as follows.
A grandmother is taken ill, she starts calling a name that neither of her daughters or granddaughter have heard of before. She asks her granddaughter to go look for a book that’s on a box under her bed and bring it to the hospital to read to her. It turns out that’s it’s a diary of life while being a captive Jew in the consternation camp. Where she fell in love with a German soldier. The grandmother German solider smuggle out the grandmothers best friend baby and she heads for America but her true love never turns up. Unbeknown to her he followed a few years later but saw she was married with two children. The granddaughter whom I think was called Emma, falls in love with grandmothers doctor and find the German soldier and they reunite. The daughters have no idea that the eldest is that of the child whom was smuggled and that the oldest is the German soldiers daughter.

This book was on kindle unlimited and I have looked through my history and it’s not there, it came on my Facebook news feed as a “must read”
