Carol Tietsworth | 203 comments Hi. I am a trained proofreader and experienced copy-editor. I read 30 + books a week in my spare time, and love to read work from new authors so I may help them to polish their work. My fees are uber-affordable.I provide you with my recommendations to augment your work, and read for grammar, spelling, tenses, and continuity. I will point out areas of confusion and offer suggestions to re-fit the situation.

Emme (emmepangala) Wow! How do you manage to read 30+ books a week? My poor eyes would not be able to take that. :-)

Carol Tietsworth | 203 comments I have been reading since age 4, then at 14 I was in hospital for two years, so there was that. I read pretty fast. I don't have much of a social life, and I'm an introvert.

Emme (emmepangala) Ah! We have reading at age four in common. Sometimes I wish I had more time for leisure reading, but work has really picked up the last few years (knock on wood), and I can only manage to read one or two books a week outside of my editing schedule.

What books have you already read this week?

Carol Tietsworth | 203 comments I'll write you back tomorrow morning, if that's okay, I'm at work now and in the middle of transcribing.

Carol Tietsworth | 203 comments I do most of my heavy reading on the weekends, and read one before work and at least one after during the week. I always have a book or my kindle, and I read less on those weeks where I am editing someone else's book. This week so far I proofread one chapter of an author's work, and read: Cold a Long Time, The Intercept, Alone But Not Lost, Bad Girlfriend, Lost in Time-1 and 2 ( wonderful books, you should check them out, by Abbie Zanders), Freshwater Kisses, Ghost in the Machine, Lost Highlander, Winter's Heat, Castle Cay, The Boss, Fierce Reads, Hired by the Cowboy, Without You, Always on My Mind, Rocky Mountain Heat,Fire at Dawn, and Special Delivery.
