In Rick's Norse series, which comes out in 2015, there's a character named Magnus Chase. Not a coincidence. Related to Annabeth?

I've heard the cousin theory and I think that it's probably correct, b/c I doubt that it's her son or brother.
I doubt that he'll be introduced in BoO. I think this because he will be in a Norse series, and HoO is Greek and Roman.

(wow, you are everywhere)
I agree.

I think maybe he's her brother.....does it mention her brother's names anywhere in the books?!

I think so? Not quite sure.

I read Blood of Olympus, then I read that Rick had confirmed that he'd put a hint in it about how Magnus is related to Annabeth.
I then squealed like a squirrel.

I actually did consider that theory, at first. Trying to figure out how Magnus is related to Annabeth drove me insane.
When Percy, Annabeth, and Piper are underground before they attack the giants. Piper asks about their families.
I know how they're related!!! :)

It does in Titan's Curse. When they go to Annabeth's mortal home and ask her dad for help.

They mostly call him Mr Chase but when his wife scolds himfor not asking the guests' name's Mrs Chase calls him Freddie. It might've been spelt differently though. maybe. I dunno.

If you don't tell me I will internet stalk you, find where you live and strangle you till you tell me. (Not really). But seriously, tell me.

I personally don't think it could be a godly connection. PJO and HoO center around Greek and Roman gods/mythology. Magnus Chase circles around Norwegian. Unless the gods' family tree is more screwed up than I know, which highly possible because Greek mythology is....weird, I believe Magnus is one of the relatives Annabeth has that they never talk about.

There was a reference to him. She has a family in Red Sox territory, as Percy put it, that her family doesn't really talk about.

do you guys think annabeth's father is a retired viking god or something (then no wonder annabeth is so powerful)
I believe that Mr. Chase is many things (awesome, maybe a little crazy), but he's not a viking. He might have a brother/sister who has something to do with Norse gods, or Annabeth's mother might have a brother/sister that has to do with it.
I hope Thor is in the book :D but isn't the next Thor movie about Ragnarok as well?
I believe so. At least, Ragnarok is in the title, so it will have something to do with it, though Marvel may twist the myth a bit.
Marvel normally does, but I don't know about this series, I read thr Percy Jackson books from when they started coming out so i kinda grew up with him, and I'm gonna really miss Percy :(

What if this person is like, Annabeth's brother or something? Maybe her step-mom had another child with a Norse god, and something bad happened, and that's why she was so scared of when she was younger?
Idk, kinda just a random theory.
I definitely think they are going to be related in some kinda way.
I think Annabeths dad has a brother and that brother got married to a woman and then they got divorced but she came the surname and then she had a child with a Norse God, so then they aren't blood related but they still have the same surname.
Personal theory :D hence the "I think"
Theories, anyone?
