I have to say - I love the points scheme for TTRC specifically the support for the longer books. That will give me the push to read the ones I have hidden in my TBR.

Thanks Vi. We took the feedback from the last few challenges that people really wanted a way to differentiate book sizes ; and we find books >450 pages generally also have longer word counts proportionally (the font is smaller and denser) so we wanted to recognise that

I have read about 280 books so far this year, but at least a hundred of them were over a 2 month period. Fall & Winter reading takes a serious nosedive so 200 is a more realistic annual goal

Not sure what to put for books read: I am about to go back to school and that will cut my reading time. I don't want to be added to a team as a power reader and then not have time to read. I truly don't know how reading I'll have time for when my classes start in a month.

Yeah, that's the negative side about finding such great people within this group. Kim and I are IRL friends, but I've got about another 5 I've met from here, I'd love to have with me, but I bet a ton of others do as well. Definitely NOT a big deal if we can't, perhaps the mods should adapt a "no requests" rule! They probably spend half their time figuring out requests before the stuff even starts. Sorry to add to that! You can ignore me. :)
