Okay! :D✔ How many books you have read in 2014 (>100 pages) I've read total 57 books so far. At least 50 of them consist of more than 100 pages.
✔ How many books you plan to read 2015? My goal will be read 100.

✔ Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? No, this is my first challenge here, so I don't think being a captain will be a good idea.

Well, the read and discuss is for the buddy reads, in case you want to set some with members from other teams to gather more points.

This is good challenge to start. Nothing hard, just reading books and hanging out with your teammates. I've met great people in second round (and later in other team challenges).
Tea- Ah okay. :)I think so. I've been lurking in the group for quite a long time but wasn't sure where to start. I know that sounds silly but I was kind of lost among all these topics and discussions. Just saying. So I hope the challenge will help me to be acquainted with the members of the group and to know better the group itself. :)
By the way, I have a request to make. If it is possible (and not against the rules), I'd like to be assigned to the team Soaring Eagles. One of the members of the group (Srividya) is my friend and hence the choice. :)
But if it is not possible, I'll be glad to join any other team as well. :)

Over the coming week we will PM all members with their team assignments and links to their team discussion thread. If you have a private profile, please add this mod account as a friend to ensure you receive that message.
Once you get this link, you will need to check in to your team thread by November 3. I will post here again once the emails are sent.
We are still taking sign-ups and will continue to do so through most of the challenge as members need to leave for "real life" reasons or reading goals change, but those signing up from post 355 onwards, you may be placed on a 'reserve' list and we will message you as soon as a place is available on a team, OR we may get enough new signups to create a new team. Watch this space!

I just checked every single group until I found my name...took some time to do!!

I know which group I am because I did the same thing. But no one else has checked into my team yet so I am wondering if we are supposed to wait for the pm before we do. I was kind of waiting to give the captains a chance to reserve some posts at the top.
Hmm, that's a good point.... then again, I'm seeing some groups that have like 86 posts already. Mary, try messaging your captain/cocaptains about it. I just did and it seems like it's down to personal preference. Some teams have dozens of reserved posts, and some don't.
I also found my group by searching through the individual threads. I didn't think we were supposed to wait for a PM. Our group has been pretty chatty so far. I'm loving it!

They're still in the process of sorting everyone. I saw a Storm on one of the groups but big sites liek this, it's possible there's doubles, so I'm waiting for the PM to be sure of what team I'm on.
Oh right, I see. I knew it said over the next week, because it takes time to individually notify that many people, I just didn't think we were supposed to wait for it. I figured if the threads were up, it would be ok to snoop around. I'm pretty sure a lot of people have just checked the threads to find their groups, but I'm sure the mods can clarify that and if you're more comfortable waiting for the PM, I'm sure that's fine too. :)

I don't know how you mods come up with these team names but they all sound equally interesting.
If you want to check in, go ahead. We're juast waiting fgor the captains, in case they want to reserve spots. But, the start is always exciting, so, some of us - me included- can't/couldn't wait.
