Name: Bigby Wolf
» Alias(es): The Big Bad Wolf
» Fable(s): "Little Red Riding Hood"; "The Three Little Pigs"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 514
» Birthday: November 6

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Fabletown Sheriff
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: variable; 6'1" human height
Weight: variable; 176lbs human weight
Hair: shaggy; brown; pervasive stubble
Skin: Caucasian
Eyes: brown; iridescent yellow
Body type: muscular; imposing
Pitch of voice: deep; gravelly
Distinguishable markings: an eternally glowing reputation

Personality: Bigby is an aggressive and passionate individual, despite his occasionally apathetic exterior. He takes his duties and obligations very seriously, ever on the lookout for ways to serve not only the Fabletown community, but his country. However, his good intentions have not removed him from his affiliation with violence. Often enough, he is forced to fight to protect the people and things that he cares for. To an untrained eye, the sheriff's work is a fairly simple task, but over course of his time in the profession, Bigby has collected a web of secrets, connections, and supporters that allow him to best operate within the Fabletown community. His imposing nature and dark history have combined to make him an effective leader and authority figure, while time has lead the citizens to rely on him. He himself trusts very few and not without good reason.
» Weakness(es): Snow White; solitary; lacking in tact; temperamental; belligerent.
» Strength(s): loyal; determined; intimidating; well-known; respected.

History: Bigby's father left him and his six brothers behind at a very young age when he grew tired of their mother, Winter. The runt of the litter, Bigby was teasingly called "The Big Bad Wolf" by his siblings, a moniker that later came to define him. When Winter later passed away, Bigby stayed behind to protect her corpse from scavengers while his brothers left to seek out and learn from their father. However, Bigby was too small to fight off the assailants and his mother's remains were reduced to carrion. Enraged by the incident, he swore to hunt greater prey each day until he could defeat The North Wind. Along this crusade, he hunted the three little pigs, Red Riding Hood, and her grandmother using the abilities he inherited from his father. Eventually, Bigby grew strong enough to take down entire armies and finally set out to pursue The North Wind. He failed to consume his father seven times before giving up and promising to move forward independently. From there, Bigby found new purpose by leading refugees from the Homelands and into the mortal realm. In this way, he met Snow White and Rose Red, later companions of his. After coming to the New World himself, Bigby took up residence in Carpathia, where superstitious locals blamed his attacks on a Count in the area. Shortly after he had established himself in the mortal world, Snow White approached him and offered him a place in the new Fabletown community. In addition, she cut him with a lycanthropy stained knife, which has since allowed him to take a human form at will. He subsequently became Fabletown's Sheriff and has fought in both World Wars.

Relations:
» The North Wind - Fable; Father; Eternal; Estranged
» Winter - Fable; Wolf; Mother; Deceased
» Snow White - Fable; Colleague; Esteemed Friend; Subject of Interest
» Cinderella Rhodopis - Fable; Owner of The Glass Slipper; Tourist; Friend;
Trusted Colleague
» Little Red Riding Hood - Fable; Haunting Memory; Subject of Guilty Kindness
» Georgie Porgie - Fable; Owner of the Pudding and Pie; Little Shit; Corrupter of the People
» Amalthea - Fable; Bartender at the Pudding and Pie; Tourist; Colleague; Advantageous Ally

Weapon(s): Fist, claw, and occasionally gun.

Fighting Skill(s): Bigby is one hell of a scrapper and puts himself through hell on a regular basis to get his job done.

Special Abilities: Although originally a wolf of massive proportions, Bigby is now capable of shifting between his wolf and human forms with ease, while maintaining his advanced senses. Additionally, he inherited the power to create great gusts of wind with his breath from his father and can hold his breath for an impressive length of time.

Other: Bigby smokes habitually in order to remove his hyperactive nose from the bustling scents of the city. He is especially attuned to Snow's scent and can determine small shifts in her mood from it.

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Name: Snow White
» Alias(es): Deputy Major; The Fairest of Them All
» Fable(s): "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves"; "Snow-White and Rose-Red"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 414
» Birthday: October 27

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Fabletown Deputy Major
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 127lbs
Hair: onyx black of the darkest abyssal shade
Skin: snow white
Eyes: crystal blue
Body type: hourglass; delicate; soft; supple
Pitch of voice: Erin Yvette
Distinguishable markings: bright blood-red lips

Personality: Snow White is an efficient administrator, but finds it difficult forming emotional attachments. Her ex-husband, Prince Charming, claims that she has been betrayed and abandoned by everyone she has ever loved, including her step-mother, her sister Rose Red, and Prince Charming himself. Snow has taken the failure of her marriage to Charming very hard having never allowed herself to fall in love, and since the founding of Fabletown she has attended the annual Remembrance Day celebration on her own. According to Bigby, he can tell the state of her mood by the change of her musk; Snow is rarely happy and often very lonely, though she hides these emotions well. She is a workaholic and rarely has time to take care of herself with all the work she has to do for both Fabletown and The Farm. Despite all the hardships she has gone through, deep down, Snow is still a young girl at heart who hopes to one day be truly loved for who she is. She has a soft heart of gold encased in a diamond shell.
» Weakness(es): extreme emotional detachment; inability to trust others; jaded; (view spoiler).
» Strength(s): strong leadership skills; meticulous; organised; visionary; soft-hearted.

History: Snow White and Rose Red were born into a poor peasant family. They were incredibly close as they grew up, promising each other that they would be best friends forever. The two of them formed a friendship with a bear from the forest, who was actually a cursed prince. Snow and Rose Red freed him of his curse, and he promised to marry Snow White. This, however, became a danger to Snow, as the prince's family refused for him to marry a poor girl. The promise was only breakable by death and so Snow was sent away by her mother in secret to protect her life. In her new kingdom, the queen was jealous of Snow's beauty and sent for her to be killed. Snow escaped, and found what she believed was the safety of a home in the woods. As it turned out, it was the home of seven dwarves who proceeded to abuse her in various ways, from manual labor to rape. Eventually, the queen disguised herself as an old woman and gave Snow an apple. She fell into a deep coma, and the dwarves, thinking her dead, left her in the woods. Prince Charming found and woke her, taking her to his kingdom, where the two fell in love. Snow became his first wife. Shortly after, she asked for fencing lessons as her wedding present. (view spoiler) Rose Red felt betrayed and abandoned after Snow's disappearance, unaware that it had not been her choice, and grew to resent her sister. Snow eventually sent for Rose to come and live with her and Charming, but by then it was too late. Snow soon discovered Rose and Charming having an affair - she disowned Rose and divorced Charming. Following the Adversary's invasion of her kingdom, Snow White and Rose Red fled together, having heard of a gateway to another world beyond his reach. They were both captured by the Adversary's forces and chained up together. Their captors were slain by the Big Bad Wolf, who had taken on the task of guarding the gate. Snow White immediately took up one of her captor's swords to defend herself against the Wolf, and was surprised when the Wolf willingly freed them from their bonds. When the Wolf offered to take her through the gate in exchange for a taste of her flesh (in order to ensure that she was not in the service of the Adversary), she agreed. Snow was part of the Fabletown government from the moment the small community was set up in New York, then known as New Amsterdam. Because of their previous meeting, two hundred years earlier, it was Snow who was sent to Carpathia to ask the Big Bad Wolf to join them, carrying the lycanthropy-stained knife that would give him the ability to shapeshift and adopt the persona of Bigby Wolf. She was also sent as an envoy to the Arabian Fables where she found herself having to keep the Sultan amused with various tales. Snow gradually rose up through the ranks of government, until she became assistant to deputy mayor Ichabod Crane. When Crane resigned in the mid-1990s after one hundred and fifteen years in the job, facing accusations of embezzlement and sexually harassing Snow, she took over as deputy mayor, becoming largely responsible for the day-to-day running of the community, assisted by Boy Blue.

Relations:
» Rose Red - Fable; Sister; Estranged (Off and On)
» Prince Charming - Fable; Ex-Husband; Semi-Despised
» Bigby Wolf - Fable; Trusted Colleague; Debatable Best Friend

Weapon(s): Rapier

Fighting Skill(s): Fencing

Special Abilities: Snow White has a slow form of regeneration due to her extreme popularity among the Mundys; even mortal wounds have a very hard time killing her. This power is also responsible for her eternally youthful beauty.

Other: Snow White is renowned for her beauty and those that see her cannot help but stare at the perfectly put together ex-princess. She has been aware of people's strong reaction to her physical appearance since a very young age, but finds it more of a burden than a blessing. Bigby is the only person (Fable and non) who Snow implicitly trusts. She values their work relationship and although many Fables complain that Bigby can be too harsh, Snow understands that there are some things he must do to get the job done (even though she may have a hard time agreeing with his methods).

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Name: Georgie Porgie
» Alias(es): George Pinkman
» Fable(s): "Georgie Porgie"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Bisexual

Age: 164
» Birthday: June 22

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Pimp; Owner of the Pudding & Pie Strip Club
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 153lbs
Hair: bald
Skin: pale; tattooed
Eyes: brown
Body type: thin; wiry; somewhat emaciated
Pitch of voice: cockney accent; aggressive
Distinguishable markings: Georgie is fairly recognizable among the Fables, though he does blend in somewhat with the alternative Mundys.

Personality: Most Fables think of Georgie as obnoxious, up to no good and generally a nuisance. More often than not, these assumptions are true, but so long as it isn't the law chasing after him, Georgie doesn't really care who dislikes him. He provides the people of Fabletown with what they want--that they can't necessarily get through legal means--and he understands the disdain that accompanies such a role. But, money talks! (view spoiler) So nothing else really matters. Despite his uncouth nature, Georgie is a shrewd back alley businessman and won't skimp on his customers--so long as your cash is good, your secrets are safe with him.
» Weakness(es): no sense of social decency; crude; devious.
» Strength(s): charming (when he wants to be); cunning; dangerous (can also be seen as a weakness); non-judgemental.

History: Georgie's fable grew through the nursery rhyme written about him in the mid-nineteenth century in England. After his escape to Fabletown, Georgie wandered around the Mundys, wondering what to do with his now own mundane life. He stumbled into a strip club in downtown Manhattan and struck gold. The Pudding & Pie was opened in Fabletown shortly afterwards.

Relations:
» Snow White - Fable; Deputy Major; Thorn in His Side
» Bigby Wolf - Fable; Sheriff; Pain in the Padded Ass

Weapon(s): M1911A1 pistol; billy club; pocket knife.

Fighting Skill(s): bare knuckle brawling; shivving; firearms.

Special Abilities: Georgie can make a girl high when he kisses her; they lose their lucidity for up to twenty-four hours.

Other:
Georgie Porgie, Puddin' and Pie,
Kissed the girls and made them cry,
When the boys came out to play
Georgie Porgie ran away.

Heather (georgouschaos) | 106 comments Name: Briar Rose
» Alias(es): Aurora; Sleeping Beauty; Briar or Briar Rose (but never call her Rose)
» Fable(s): "The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood"; "Little Briar Rose"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 486
» Birthday: May 15

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Dancer (Exotic/Ballet)
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 120lbs
Hair: pale blonde
Skin: creamy with pink undertones
Eyes: violet
Body type: slender hourglass
Pitch of voice: smooth; silky

Personality: Briar Rose is known for her compassion and graceful elegance, on and off the stage. Although she still has that inquisitive streak that embodied her as a young girl, with age Aurora has learned through experience not to always follow her curious urges, knowing their likelihood to get her into trouble. Helpful when and where she can be, she does a lot of volunteer work when not performing to keep herself busy, and is prone to stretching herself a bit too thin from time to time. A rather optimistic woman, she looks for the best in everything and everyone she meets, despite having been left disappointed more than once, and is a loyal, friendly companion to those she calls friends. Her heart is easily broken however, Aurora sometimes letting her emotions get the better of her even when it's clear the heartache isn't worth it.
» Weakness(es): roses; tenderhearted; inquisitive nature; her birds; dancing; workaholic.
» Strength(s): resourceful; independent; openness (could be seen as a weakness); reliable; dedication.

History: After the fiasco with Maleficent, and a less than successful marriage to Prince Phillip, Aurora had been thrilled at the idea of change when relocated to Fabletown. She had always wanted to be an independent woman, and she saw the move as an opportunity to fulfill that goal once separated from all the people and things that kept her from achieving it. However, with little to no work experience to speak of, Briar Rose was quickly convinced to take a job at Pudding & Pie, a decision she's not entirely proud of making. She, like most, became rather smitten with Georgie, but it didn't take long for her to realize that was an endeavor she should stay away from, and has recently been dwindling her time as part of the pimp's staff to pursue a career in ballet. Georgie isn't making this transition easy for Aurora though, and is continuously trying to manipulate her into staying.

Relations:
» Georgie Porgie - Fable; 164; Pimp/Club Owner; Boss

Weapon(s): None

Fighting Skill(s): None

Special Abilities: Though she cannot speak to them in a literal sense, Aurora does seem to have the capacity to communicate with animals on some level.

Other: Briar Rose adores birds and has an entire room designed just for her singing companions.

Heather (georgouschaos) | 106 comments Name: Robin Hood
» Alias(es): Robbie; Rob; Slick; Prince of Thieves; Robin of Locksley
» Fable(s): "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 430
» Birthday: December 21

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Owner of Black Sheep Customs/Mechanic
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 5'9"
Weight: 170lbs
Hair: chestnut
Skin: olive
Eyes: hazel
Body type: athletic
Pitch of voice: slightly gruff
Distinguishable markings: Robin has a museum of scars; one atop of his head from being pistol whipped, another crossing his left eyebrow from a drunken accident, along with a wide variety of defensive wounds that mark his arms.

Personality: Robin is most often playfully sarcastic, and a real charmer in his ruffian ways. Slick with his tongue and his wits, he is a sharp man when not intoxicated, but Robin tends to drink more than he should and when he does can end up being quite foolish; picking fights he has no business picking, and a tendency to be arrogantly boisterous. However, though some may see him as little more than a biker thug these days, Robin is, as he has always been, an advocate for the less fortunate and protector of the weak. Though he can be found in innocent endeavors such as feeding the poor, he is equally likely to be involved in a shoot out, as long as the violence steams from reason.
» Weakness(es): heavy drinker; women; outlaw persona; the needy; loyalty (could also be seen as a strength).
» Strength(s): honor; agility; firearm proficiency; tracking; thievery; lock picking.

History: Stories of Robin and his band of "merry men" have been circulating for generations; some theories based on fact, others, nothing more than tall tales shared around camp fires, all of which have fueled his humbly inflated ego. When he found himself forced from his stories to live in exile in Fabletown, he had been disgruntled, angry that he could no longer wallow in his legends or express his triumphs openly, but he has learned to adjust to his new existence. Picking up a few new tricks of the trade along the way, he has also contructed a new following of men with the same ideals as the prince of thieves. This group of misfists and outsiders are unquestionably loyal to Robin and has become just as much of a brotherhood as his tales would imply.

Relations:
» Rose Red - Fable; 414; Dancer at Pudding & Pie; Frequently Enjoyed, but Paid for, Company

Weapon(s): Robin has long since retired his bow and arrow for guns and bullets and owns two nine millimeters, a shotgun, and a long range sniper rifle.

Fighting Skill(s): His marksmanship is his best line of defense, but Robin isn't a stranger in hand to hand assaults either and is normally a worthy opponent, as long as he hasn't been drinking.

Other: It's no secret Mr. Hood is a bit of a womanizer, but his ability to woo the opposite sex hasn't made the prince of thieves arrogant as some might assume. Priding himself in always being a perfect gentleman with the ladies, though he is most often gone by morning, most women don't seem slighted by his fleeting affections and normally welcome him back with open arms.

Tessa (panicrocks95) | 152 comments Name: Peter Aster
» Alias(es): Peter Pan; The Boy With No Bones
» Fable(s): "Peter Pan"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 112
» Birthday: November 17

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Street Performer; Thief
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 147lbs
Hair: ginger
Skin: pale
Eyes: bright green; turquoise and gold specks
Body type: small; lightly muscled
Pitch of voice: sing-song; English accent
Distinguishable markings: His wrists, which are always covered by bracelets, are covered in scars and ligature marks from the ropes the fairies used to drag him into the air while teaching him how to fly.

Personality: Peter acts just like a cocky teenage boy, everything he says is right and if you don't agree with him you can screw off. Trouble tends to find its way to him, and it's normally a one-way road of crap until someone finally gets run over. He normally acts happy and optimistic, though his brains works just the opposite, thinking of every bad outcome in any given situation.
» Weakness(es): klepto; pessimist; he can't always finish a fight; extremely disorganized; awkward around girls.
» Strength(s): musically talented; contortionist; gymnast; practically perfect pickpocket.

History: Peter was born into a proper English family, but as a kid his mother left the window open and he fell off of the third story balcony. He was rescued by fairies and raised with so much magic around him that as he grew up he gained powers such as flight. The fairies taught him everything from music to thievery, which he picked up as quickly as any of them had. When he was older he visited his parents home back in London and found a new baby in the room that was once his, instead of approaching them he assumed they didn't want him anymore and started terrorizing the city by hypnotizing young boys and convincing them to join band of thieves. In the 1940's the city finally put their foot down and began hunting the gang down left and right. Leaving his group to fend for themselves Peter stowed away on a cruise ship and ended up in New York City, where he felt right at home.

Relations:
» Mary - Fable; 458; Mercenary; Saved His Butt A Couple Times, But Her Specialty Is Kicking It
» Tinker Bell - Fable; 162; Fairy Hotel and Safe House Owner; Best Friend

Weapon(s): pixie dust; throwing knives.

Fighting Skill(s): Peter has the skills of a gymnast and uses them to his advantage during any fight.

Special Abilities: Peter can fly up to 30,000 feet, the higher he flies the less time he can stay in the air without passing out. Though he doesn't need pixie dust to keep his power of flight he keeps bag of it to use when he's performing or if he's just bored. The substance is slightly hypnotizing to children and will put an adult to sleep. Anyone who has the mind of a child is affected strongly and he can control them until the magic wears off, though normally after a few days under his control they begin to agree with his beliefs without force.

Other: Peter is an extreme contortionist and is known on the street being able to look like his bones are made of rubber.

Name: Rose Red
» Alias(es): Rose; The Rose Red Knight; Hot Tamale
» Fable(s): "Snow-White and Rose-Red"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 414
» Birthday: November 2

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Wild Child; Dancer at the Pudding & Pie
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 132lbs
Hair: fiery; aggressive crimson
Skin: pale with rosy undertones
Eyes: soft natural green
Body type: lithe; curvaceous
Pitch of voice: confident; alluring; mezzo-soprano
Distinguishable markings: a small rose tramp stamp

Personality: Rose was very adventurous as a child, a trait that has not since left her. However, since her separation from her sister in the Homelands, she has lost a good deal of her trust in those around her. She is generally a friendly and sarcastically amusing individual, but distances herself from others in order to avoid what she believes would be the inevitable fallout of any deeper relationship. Typically, Rose is drawn to individuals that have new and interesting things to offer her, from a shiny silver car to an unusual perspective on the ways of the world. Since her arrival in Fabletown, she has become tangled in more promiscuous habits, half for the hell of it and half to embarrass her sister, Snow. Despite the outward facade she presents, Rose is a deeply caring and loyal person. Sometimes, she just seems to care a little too much. She is the sort of girl you can only disappoint once; no do-overs and no second chances.
» Weakness(es): lacking in restraint; spiteful; proud; men.
» Strength(s): brave; tenacious; exuberant; independent; wily.

History: Rose Red and Snow White grew up together in a small cottage with their peasant parents and, although their life was simple, Rose needed little more than the love and friendship of her sister to carry her from one day to the next. When the two were in their early teens, they befriended a bear in the woods and Rose, the bolder of the two at that time, offered him a place at their hearth. He told them that he was a prince under a curse and together the girls were able to release him. Naturally, the prince selected the fairer, Snow White, to become his bride as a reward for their aid. When his family heard of this arrangement, they called for Snow's execution in order to prevent the contamination of the royal bloodline. For some time, Rose thought her sister dead and believed herself to be completely alone in the world. However, years later she learned suddenly that her sister was not only alive and well, but happily married to her very own Prince Charming. Rose left her wayward travels behind to join Snow and Charming at their castle, but when the prince proved less than faithful, Rose saw no reason to spare her sister from the betrayal she herself had experienced. She slept with Charming and ultimately destroyed her sister's marriage. Nevertheless, the invasion of the Homelands pushed them together once more as they fled, and the girls made their way into the New World with the help of Bigby Wolf. Since their arrival, Rose has seen and done nearly everything America has to offer. She is currently employed at Georgie's Pudding & Pie strip club, but when something more exciting comes along she will no doubt pounce on the idea. She remains envious of the power her sister holds and expends a good deal of effort in half-hearted attempts at annoying Snow. Her only distraction from these endeavors is her work.

Relations:
» Snow White - Fable; Sister; Deputy Mayor; Estranged
» Prince Charming - Fable; Once Romantic Interest
» Georgie Porgie - Fable; Club Owner; Pimp; Temporary Source of Funding
» Robin Hood - Fable; Ruffian with a Soft Side; Regular Customer; Recent Fascination
» Red Riding Hood - Fable; Friendly Acquaintance; Innocent worth Protecting

Weapon(s): The Rosary Blade

Fighting Skill(s): Although Rose was never formally taught swordplay, her skill is enough to combat her sister's fencing. She isn't afraid to fight dirty to get out of a hairy situation, either.

Special Abilities: Rose Red is capable of placating agitated animals, a talent which is only debatably supernatural in nature. She is significantly more vulnerable to injury than her famous sister, Snow White.

Other: Rose's frequent adventures back in the Homelands have left her with a soft spot for gallantry, despite her present company.

Lizzie [may soda be eternal] (kisaragiidolmomo) | 138 comments Name: Mary
» Alias(es): Bloody Mary
» Fable(s): "Bloody Mary"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 458
» Birthday: November 17

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Mercenary
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 126lbs
Hair: dark brown
Skin: fair
Eyes: brown; red
Body type: thin; similar to a corpse in her true form
Pitch of voice: Kathryn Cressida
Distinguishable markings: She has Rune like symbols all over her body, as well as shards of glass stuck in her skin when she isn't disguised.

Personality: Though she's good at hiding it when she needs to, Mary often shows more than just sociopathic tenancies. She's not one to hesitate when ripping out someone's intestines and splaying them across the ground. Aside from her messy pasttime, she basically despises most people and it takes quite a bit of someone proving they can be at least a bit useful so that she doesn't want to kill them on the spot. She trusts no one, and it would not be smart for anyone to trust her.
» Weaknesses: great lack of allies; not exactly well liked in the town; iron blades; silver backed mirrors.
» Strengths: fear; very popular as an urban legend; reflective surfaces; dim light.

History: Mary is well aware that she is often mistaken for the deceased monarchs that share her name, and at first she often stood in for the late queens when women "called" wanting to know who they were going to marry. Unfortunately for them she rarely answered their questions, instead she just scared them with the image of a giant floating skull, which normally got blamed for their early demise.
After a while she became bored of the sad lovers with death wishes who tried to summon the dead and moved on to most anyone who called her name, this method of course let her be a bit more creative with their deaths. For a few decades she rarely showed up when people tried summoning her, leaving many adults to believe that the legend was just that, a legend, but after a series of Bloody Mary murders throughout the western U.S. Mary's story was back again, haunting the lives of children all around her. When she found Fabletown she realized that some would not only pay her for her services, they were paying her for what she loved to do and she didn't even really have to hide anymore.

Relations:
» Peter Pan - Fable; 112; Thief; Useful Enough That He Doesn't Need to Be Torn Apart... Yet

Weapons: two pistols; a hatchet.

Fighting Skills: quiet attacks in the dark; shooting someone in the face.

Special Abilities: magical resistance; strength and agility; replication; portal creation (she can travel through nearly any reflective surface); "anti-mirror", she can sense when the Magic Mirror is watching her and cut off its vision.

Other: Mary considers crawling through mirrors in the middle of the night to brutally murder those who call her name a hobby, like scrap-booking, or playing golf.

Name: Taka
» Alias(es): Scar; William Stratton; Sheriff of Nottingham; Sheriff Scar
» Fable(s): "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood"; "Hamlet"; "The Lion King"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 411
» Birthday: June 15

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Bouncer at the Pudding & Pie; Hired Hand
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 177lbs
Hair: coal black
Skin: tanned
Eyes: lime green
Body type: muscular; wiry; lean
Pitch of voice: low; slightly husky; baritone
Distinguishable markings: a faint scar that runs across his left eye from when he was attacked by a herd of buffalo; some burn scars on his back and arms

Personality: Jealousy, contempt, and greed have corrupted Scar's soul. Perhaps there was a time when he admired his brother, Mufasa, but that time has become distorted over the years as his brother was praised and he was put in second place; his father practically forgot about him as he showed favoritism towards his elder son. His cunning is his strength and he prefers using intellect to reach his goals rather than brute force, though this may make him look like a coward. But he doesn't mind having that image since he finds it useful when he wants to surprise his enemies. He has a quick temper, but he is patient when it comes to plotting his revenge or ways to reach his goals. Scar also has a charm about him that makes people drawn towards him, despite his corrupt leadership. After his near death, Scar has developed a sense of obligation towards Darius that he doesn't necessarily like, yet he trusts the sorcerer in a way he hasn't been able to trust others before. Probably he knows the man to be unpredictable and so, ironically, he can trust that without any doubts.
» Weakness(es): quick to become jealous; blind to his faults; arrogant; power (can't ever get enough and thus never satisfied); developed a fear of fire.
» Strength(s): intelligent; ambitious (can be a weakness); charismatic; an opportunist; telepathic link with Darius; physical strength (lion form).

History: When he was around eight, Mufasa was chosen as heir and Taka was practically pushed to the side as their father showed favoritism. Many times his father cancelled plans with him and the admiration for his brother changed to jealousy and eventually hate. At one point, he tried to make Mufasa look like a fool by tricking him into confronting a buffalo drinking from a water hole during a drought. Mufasa tried to talk to it like any prince would, but Taka was impatient so he threatened the buffalo. The buffalo charged at them and while Mufasa escaped, Taka was pinned by the buffalo. The rest of the herd came along and they attacked him. His father stepped in, but afterward scolded him and called him cowardly. The wounds he received mostly healed, but the one on his left eye remained as a scar and that was when he took upon the name Scar.
Later on, Scar's father passed away and Mufasa took over the pride when Scar was fifteen. For a some years, he served as an adviser and he watched his brother grow in popularity and eventually begin a family. When Simba was born and his position as heir was threatened, Scar decided it was time to execute his plot. In those years as adviser, he amassed a group of followers and when Simba was around eight, he jumped into action. All the events of Mufasa's death and Simba's disappearance happened and Scar became the leader of the pride when he was around thirty-five. For nine years he ruled, but little did he know, Simba came back to reclaim the throne. A battle ensued between them and in the process, Scar was wounded and burned, thrown off the cliff as he tried to attack Simba again. His followers, the hyenas, heard Scar trying to place the blame on them and so when they found him lying at the bottom of the cliff, they attacked. Scar barely escaped with his life, fleeing into the Mundy world in his delirious, wounded state, and would have died had not Darius found him. Ever since his transmutation and recovery, Scar has been almost a servant to Darius in his search for his lost love, Odette. He has also taken the well-known position of Sheriff of Nottingham after killing the earlier one that was the main nemesis of Robin Hood and has continued that rivalry. Also, he has grown a huge dislike for Bigby Wolf, who he sees as an obstruction in his search for more power and as he goes about his business at night.

Relations:
» Darius Alexei von Rothbart - Fable; 139; Thirteenth Floor Employee; Underground Glamor Distributor; Master and Ally
» Georgie Porgie - Fable; 164; Pimp/Club Owner; Acquaintance
» Bigby Wolf - Fable; 514; Town Sheriff; Enemy

Weapon(s): lion form; a pair of pistols; hunting knife.

Fighting Skill(s): Fierce and savage, Scar can hold his own in a fight, though he prefers sending his men in his place. As a human, he can throw punches and use a variety of weapons (though he prefers using a knife the most). As a lion, there is no contest against his claws, teeth, and sheer power.

Special Abilities: He can switch back and forth between his human form and lion form, though it does correlate with the time of day. During the day he's human and at night he goes back to his original lion form. Also, he has developed a telepathic link with Darius which makes it easy for him to do the sorcerer's bidding.

Other: Apparently Scar's original name was Taka which meant trash or dirt. Before it was named in a book, it was thought that Scar was short for Aksari which means soldier. Also, Scar thinks of the Adversary as a nuisance and a major hindrance since he wants to return back to the pride and attempt to become king again.

Heather (georgouschaos) | 106 comments Name: Amalthea
» Alias(es): Lady Amalthea; Lulu; Ama
» Fable(s): "The Last Unicorn"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 46
» Birthday: July 7

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Bartender at Pudding & Pie; Tourist
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 116lbs
Hair: white blonde
Skin: porcelain
Eyes: lavender
Body type: delicate
Pitch of voice: soft; girlish
Distinguishable markings: On the rare occasions Amalthea is caught without any make-up on, a pale star-burst shaped patch of pale pink can been seen on her forehead, a mark that has permanently replaced her horn.

Personality: Amalthea has lost the innocent wonder that had once been part of her kind, her gentleness being replaced by a feisty attitude and rowdy tendencies that make her somewhat unruly at times. Disappointed in her human existence she reserves the right to create her own fun, even at the expense of someone else. Overall though, the unicorn is harmless, perhaps not for the easily offended, but she's fun spirited and delightfully reckless to those who know her. A bit of a brat, she usually gets her way by one means or another, and for many, her in-your-face personality can be too much to handle. This doesn't bother her however, Amalthea rarely gives much thought to the opinions of others; unicorns were never meant to be tamed anyway.
» Weakness(es): butterflies; other mystical creatures; Schmendrick; The Red Bull; inquisitive nature; Prince Lír.
» Strength(s): daring; headstrong; emotional control; insightful; wisdom.

History: Her fable would have you believe that Schmendrick's spell to return Amalthea back into a unicorn, had made a true wizard out of the magician, that the spell had stuck, and after freeing her fellow unicorns from The Red Bull, she had returned to her forest as did the rest, and lived happily ever after. This is however not exactly the events she recalls happening. Yes, Schmendrick had been successful in changing her back, but the magic did not last long after Ama returned to her forest. When the spell wore away the unicorn was furious for being turned back into a human, and blamed her once closest friend, driving a wedge between her and Schmendrick. With the intention of returning to Hagsgate, to reunite with prince Lír, Amalthea set out on her own. She had loved him, and no other unicorn knew about love or guilt, they were blissfully naive to such emotions as a species, but becoming human had changed that for Ama. Unfortunately, this is where the unicorn's story ends, and she was picked up along this journey and placed into Fabletown before she ever made it back to Hagsgate. Still human, she is granted to live amongst the rest, which she supposes is better than on a farm as a unicorn, but she still wishes to return to her natural form, especially since the only people she had ever cared for have apparently been lost.

Relations:
» Schmendrick - Fable; 46; Magician; Best Friend; Estranged
» The Red Bull - Fable; 46; Fiery Red Bull; Greatest Fear
» Prince Lír - Fable; 46; King of Hagsgate; First Love
» Bigby Wolf - Fable; 514; Fabletown Sheriff; Employer of Amathea's Fable Associated Affairs
» Georgie Porgie - Fable; 164; Pimp; Man Whore; Boss at Pudding & Pie

Weapon(s): The only weapon Ama owns is a baseball bat that she keeps beside her front door, having to use it a number of times to ward off unwanted guests, or ones who have out stayed their welcome.

Fighting Skill(s): Though she talks a big game, Ama has very little fighting skills, but that doesn't keep her from being a scrappy little spit-fire nonetheless when backed into a corner.

Special Abilities: Amalthea, being the unicorn she actually is, can see through any and all magical illusions as if they are not there at all. In addition, any forest Amalthea may venture into, the wildlife within it is protected from harm by being rendered invisible for as long as the unicorn is in close proximity. However, it is only Mundy animals that are affected by this ability, the unicorn being utterly powerless in cloaking fable creatures at all.

Other: Lady Amalthea refuses to cry, no matter how she may hurt, you will never see the toughened unicorn shed a tear. "Don't cry, if you have become human enough to cry, then all the magic in the world cannot change you back."

» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 143lbs
Hair: light blonde; almost silvery
Skin: pale; porcelain
Eyes: icy blue; borderline colorless
Body type: curvaceous; lithe; graceful
Pitch of voice: soft; alto; can be gentle as a snowflake or as harsh as a blizzard
Distinguishable markings: silvery-white marks curl beneath her eyes but only are visible when someone looks at her closely

Personality: There are many layers of ice that surround her heart and the only emotions Eirian truly lets herself feel is scorn or hate for others. Her trust was completely destroyed when she was younger, especially when her tutor turned out to be her parents' murderer and Jack Horner was just using her. So after opening her heart to these people and being left broken, Eirian has long decided that she doesn't want to rely on anyone or let anyone inside ever again. She has a calm demeanor that could either be soothing or menacing, depending on if you get on her good side or not. Most of the time she seems unshakable, especially since she was trained to remain poised as the future winter queen. This front Eirian puts up, though, hides that she still gives in to fancy occasionally, which can only be seen in her extreme interest in stories. Of course, she'll never let herself become gullible like in the past, but there is still a small belief inside her that there can be happy endings. She just doesn't know if she could find it or if it's even worth it.
» Weaknesses: stories; heat (can't stand it); neither good nor bad; cares only about her self-interests; doesn't trust anyone.
» Strengths: magic; graceful dancer; not easily distracted; finishes a job thoroughly; decisive.

History: When she was born, Eirian was blue and she didn't make a single sound. Her mother refused to think she was dead and her father couldn't bear to see his wife's grief so he sought out ways to deal with the tragedy. A witch came forth three days after Eirian's birth and, in exchange for her father's life, the witch gave life to Eirian. But, Eirian wasn't fully restored to life. Instead, ice ran through her veins, her skin became pale, and her golden hair turned lighter. The only thing that remained was her light blue eyes that she inherited from her father. The queen grew distant after her husband's death, barely showing herself to her subjects. She had three older sisters that had long left their parents, creating their own kingdoms, leaving the wintry one with the queen. They were more concerned with their own duties and seasons to notice the needs of the kingdom they left behind. Over the years, as the queen treasured her child, the kingdom fell into disarray as a harsh, growing coldness took over the land. People began to leave, crops died, and still the queen hid in her palace, bringing up her daughter on her own. Eventually, it was just little Eirian at age ten and the queen living in the palace. For a time, Eirian was happy with her mother, oblivious to the plight outside and never crossing paths with another human being.
Then, on Eirian's sixteenth birthday, her mother died. Her cause of death is unknown, but the girl was left alone and she became the new queen. She was about to give in to despair, but a woman showed up, claiming to be able to teach her how to deal with her new power. At first, Eirian thought she meant how to run the kingdom, but the woman meant magic and told the young girl that she had great power running through her veins. For the next four years, the woman taught Eirian how to create snowflakes and make them do her bidding, how to bend ice to her will, and manipulate the cold element around her. The woman was a harsh teacher and not particularly kind, always holding back secrets. When Eirian was twenty, she was going off a particular curious urge to explore the woman's personal library and she found a journal, one she had never seen before. Upon reading it, Eirian discovered the woman was the same witch who brought her to life. In fact, the witch cursed her mother when she was pregnant so she would have a stillbirth and planned so that her blood would run through Eirian as if she was her daughter. The witch wanted to take away the lives of both Eirian's parents, but since the queen hid her in the palace that whole time, it took longer for that plan to be executed. After she discovered this, Eirian ran away, going out into a blizzard and heading towards north. There, she made a palace of her own and lived in solitude with only a stoat as company. In her loneliness, she slowly built her own kingdom, using magic to make a living. With the little education from her mother and some from the witch, Eiran took up her duty as the queen of winter, working with her sisters to bring in the seasons.
After a couple years or so, she traveled down to the nearest village from her palace. There she met a boy with a curious coldness in his heart like herself (though that coldness in her heart was slightly different, one that felt like a gaping hole). Drawn by something, Eirian took him in and brought him up to her palace. For days, she studied why he seemed so disinterested and cold-hearted. At the discovery of the troll mirror in his eyes, Eirian told him if he could spell "eternity" with pieces of ice in her palace, then she would free him. Then Greda came along and saved him while she was away from her palace. Though she was furious at the loss of the boy, Eirian's curiosity only grew more. After hearing the rumors of how the boy was saved, she began a search for something similar, something to bring out the humanity in her.
And then Eirian met Jack Horner. He fawned over her and she was enraptured by him. Still living in her ice palace, Eirian thought that she could live happily ever after with Jack since after she met him she felt that coldness leave her and her view of the world was brighter. She spent days talking with him, enjoying his company and the many stories he shared since he seemed like a world traveler. He stayed for quite some time, enough for her to put all her trust in him, even giving her heart out. It was one day, a few days before it was time to bring in winter when she fell ill (an odd sickness that she hadn't come across before and also rare since she usually became ill after the use of her magic). Since she felt Jack was forever to be by her side, Eirian let him persuade her into giving him her powers to bring in the winter, never noticing the mischievous look in his eyes. The effort of her three sisters helped her gain her powers back but Eirian forever lost her trust and her heart grew colder. In an effort to keep her kingdom safe, she decided to serve for the Empire and the Adversary (unknowingly also having been under one of his controlling spells). Once she broke free from the spell with the help of other Fables, she has fled into Fabletown, not knowing where her loyalties lie or whether her heart could even have such an emotion.

Relations:
» Laurits Nordskov - Fable; Deceased; Father; Previous King
» Eleanora Nordskov - Fable; Deceased; Mother; Previous Queen
» Jack Horner - Fable; 410; Traitor; Hated

Weapons: magic; ice daggers; ice spears.

Fighting Skills: Eirian is a highly skilled sorceress and she works well on the battlefield after her many experiences, but she prefers sending out ice daggers and spears at her enemies rather than engaging in hand-to-hand combat.

Special Abilities: Eirian has the power to bring the season of winter and transform ice and snowflakes into any shape or into servants. Most of the time she can control her abilities, but they are strongly linked with her emotions as well. Since she is comfortable with the cold, she has a habit of having small snowflakes fall around her wherever she goes. Also, she has a kissing spell that works only on someone's forehead. First kiss makes one numb to the cold, second kiss to make one forget, and the third kiss brings death.

Other: Eirian has a pet stoat named Castor whose appearance changes with the seasons (view spoiler).

Heather (georgouschaos) | 106 comments Name: Alejandro David Romero
» Alias(es): The Bogeyman; The Jersey Devil; Sack Man; El Coco; Babau; Butzemann (and the list goes on)
» Fable(s): "Here Comes the Bogeyman"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 217
» Birthday: June 6

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Bookie; Loan Shark; Owner of The Lucky Pawn
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 6'4"
Weight: 175lbs
Hair: black
Skin: caramel
Eyes: chocolate brown
Body type: muscular; solid
Pitch of voice: gruff; calmly unsettling

Personality: Arrogant and selfish, most fables want nothing to do with the fearsome legend, but this doesn't much matter to Alejandro since the only thing he normally wants out of them is their money. Making the transition into a mundy world has coaxed his evil streak to stretch, and though he had been originally created to keep unruly children under control, being thrown into New York has fed his cruelty; turning the once rather innocent teacher of lessons into a devilish antagonist that is delighted at the sight of terror. Since he thinks so highly of himself, however, his ego can be a bit touchy, making him seem rather childish when things don't go his way or when his flaws are brought to attention. Despite the charming persona he tries to portray on a daily bases, one should be wary of dealing with the man nightmares are made of. Alejandro walks a fine line between his habits of spooking and being a down right psychopath, having schizophrenic tendencies that when unleashed are as destructive as they are terrifying and prove that El Coco is a dangerous man to tango with.
» Weakness(es): opportunities of trickery; indulgent; easily bruised ego; lack of empathy (could be seen as a strength).
» Strength(s): terrorizing; manipulation; deceptive charm; headstrong; street smarts.

History: It's hard to say exactly where and when The Bogeyman came to be, but he has been a shared idea that has stretched across the globe, and Alejandro loves his high profile status. Life as a fable was dull in comparison to the life as a living, breathing man in a modern world, making his former existence seem like child's play, which by-in-large it had been. He had been created to be harmless but lurking, threatening but not violent, but those had been their rules and the Jersey Devil doesn't have to listen to them anymore. He plays by his own wildly chaotic rules, but no longer prays on children; the Bogeyman spares them now, possibly the only flicker of humanity Babu has. Upon arrival to Fabletown, the Crooked Man was the first to approach Alejandro, and offered him a steady paying job running his pawn shop The Lucky Pawn. Taking the man's offer, the Bogeyman began working for the outlaw crime lord, and continues to do the Crooked Man's bidding, whatever that may be, loyally.

Relations:
» Crooked Man - Fable; 188; Crime Lord; Boss

Weapon(s): Ali is the owner of two thirty nine Bersas, one of which is always on his person. The Bogeyman also possesses a switchblade that, given the fact he has no fishing or hunting license, is illegal in the state of New York.

Fighting Skill(s): Alejandro is known to take part in a good brawl from time to time, and has no qualms with getting his hands dirty whether he's fighting with his weapons or his fists. However, most of the time, the Jersey Devil uses his skills in striking fear into people without ever having to lay a hand on them.

Special Abilities: El Coco has the capacity to engulf not only individuals, but crowds as well, with ominous feelings that can't be shaken. In addition to his ability to prompt paralyzing fear at will, Alejandro can also evoke nightmares that magnify the phobias of his often innocent victims. All of which, he indulges in simply for the joy of seeing the way terror manipulates the features of those he inflicts his intentions upon. The Bogeyman can also render himself invisible, which aids him in his endeavors of mischief (so don't ignore the sense of being watched by peering eyes, it just might save your sanity, because the odds are it's Alejandro scoping his next victim).

Other: "Let me be your favorite nightmare, close your eyes and I'll be right there."

» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 140lbs
Hair: blonde; shoulder-length; slightly wavy
Skin: creamy; fair; sunkissed
Eyes: ocean blue
Body type: hourglass; toned; healthy; fit
Pitch of voice:alto; clear; light

Personality: Cinderella can't be considered trustworthy because she lies to almost everyone about who she really is and what she does. She is a hardened killer that plays the silly, carefree private business owner that spends her time traveling because she can't be bothered to stay in one place for too long. At the same time, her fond feelings for her friends are honest and true. She deeply cares for her Fable family. She trusts her friends with her life and assumes they would trust her with theirs. She enjoys her job and obeys Bigby without question because she believes he knows what he is doing and also wants to protect the people of Fabletown. She sees what she is doing as just and right even though she has to keep it a secret from everyone. It's a necessary precaution so the operations go smoothly. Still, sometimes she struggles between understanding who she really is and what her job needs her to be.
» Weakness(es): secretive; untrustworthy; trusting.
» Strength(s): espionage; morals (her heart is always in the right place); lying.

History: Cinderella came from humble beginnings. She was once a beloved daughter turned abused child by her wicked step mother and step sisters after her father passed. Her dream was to one day escape her family. When her fairy godmother showed up, she went to a ball, where she met Prince Charming, fell in love, and got married only to be divorced once he cheated on her with the next victim. When the Fables came to Fabletown, Cinderella opened a shoe store called "The Glass Slipper." A few years later, she was enlisted to help Bigby as a spy of sorts (She became a Tourist). She would participate in sting operations and "kill" fables that were secretly on the side of those that drove the Fables from their homes. She has become a talented assassin.

Relations:
» Bigby Wolf - Fable; 514; Fabletown Sheriff; Boss; Friend; Subject of Unreciprocated Love
» Briar Rose - Fable; 486; Dancer; Close Friend
» Snow White - Fable; 414; Fabletown Deputy Mayor; Close Friend
» Prince Charming - Fable; Ex-Husband; Semi-Despised

Weapon(s): rapier; handgun; sniper rifle; knives.

Fighting Skill(s): martial arts; boxing; fencing; sword fighting; sniping; basic hand-to-hand combat.

Special Abilities: Cinderella is a very difficult Fable to kill due to the popularity of her story.

Other: Cinderella, unsurprisingly, is rather domestic and is good at cooking, cleaning, sewing, and taking care of a household. Sometimes others want to hire her as a maid and she will kindly respond by kicking them in the face. She doesn't have much of a romantic life because, usually, she is off on missions wooing targets with her womanly wiles, so dating someone else just seems wrong. She has not been married since Prince Charming. She did, however, have a crush on Bigby. As he was the only one to know about her secret life, it was almost natural for her to develop an attachment to him. Of course, she would never act on these feelings because she knew Bigby was fond of Snow White, a friend she believed was deserving of Bigby and would make a good pair with him. She flirts with him harmlessly enough on occasion. Her astrological sign is Gemini.

Weight: 154lbs
Hair: white; long; straight
Skin: pale
Eyes: opaque turquoise; when casting they are a garnet red
Body: thin; lean; long
Pitch of voice: deep; smooth; calm
Distinguishable markings: Darius has a large, pink scar running from his wrist to the end of his inner forearm made with a knife.

Personality: Darius has a bit of a one track mind and once he decides that he wants something, he unhealthily chases it, obsessing over it until he either achieves his goal or until it is completely out of his control. He is not one to think about the permanent consequences of his actions, always believing that if things take a turn for the worse, that he can somehow fix it because he is just that much more brilliant than whomever or whatever he is working against. No puzzle is too difficult to solve, no spell impossible to perform--for him. Although he is unbelievably intelligent, he is also highly emotional and will usually charge into a situation without first weighing the pros and cons of his actions. He experiences extreme highs and extreme lows in his mood swings.
» Weakness(es): books; fine wine; mind games and puzzles; Princess Odette (the love of his life); Prince Siegfried (his arch nemesis); decreased sense of smell (in owl form); ruled by his emotions (possibly bipolar).
» Strength(s): his mind; book knowledge (specializes in arcane); flight, heightened sight and hearing (in owl form); Scar (they share a telepathic link).

History: Darius was raised on the palace grounds, the son of the king’s royal adviser. At a young age, his passion for books and the knowledge they possessed fascinated him. He spent most of his time reading as a child and young adult other than when he would play with and/or harass the king’s daughter, Odette. It is hard to pinpoint when Darius fell in love with the Princess—certainly before she became the beautiful woman that the kingdom came to know and love—for as long as he could remember, he loved her. When she was six years old, her father arranged to have the Prince of another kingdom visit each summer so that the two children would grow up knowing each other with the hopes of falling in love. Darius despised Prince Siegfried from the moment he laid eyes on him for he was everything Darius was not: brutish, athletic, stupid, popular, royalty and most importantly, he might one day marry the Princess. When Darius was sixteen, Odette confessed her love to him and overjoyed, he stole the then fifteen year old's first kiss. They prayed that Siegfried would not become interested in Odette (by this point, he had shown no real interest) and that maybe the king would agree to their union. Darius has long since learned that such foolish dreams hold no place in reality. At this point in his life, he had begun to take a keen interest in arcane knowledge and although it was forbidden to practice magic, he read in secret and even practiced it from time to time—this he told no one, not even Odette.
In the summer of Odette’s sixteenth year, Siegfried finally decided that she would be his, and devastated, both Darius and the Princess tried desperately to think of a way out of the situation. Emboldened by his love for her and his youthful ignorance, Darius proposed that they could run away to which Odette agreed, only how would she leave the castle? It was then that Darius confided in her about his secret: his practice of the arcane arts. He told her that he could transform her into a swan so that she could fly away during the day and that at night, when moonlight hit the lake, she would become a human again. Once they had made it safely away from the kingdom, he would then remove the spell. Odette agreed and a week later, Darius was ready to perform his greatest spell. The transmutation was successful and Odette took off the following morning with Darius close behind in the shape of an owl. As the two flew away, they were attacked by a hunting party led by that idiot Prince, but there was no way to reverse the spell on Odette and so their only option was to fly as fast as possible. Odette did not make it. She took an arrow in the breast and went down, dropping deep into the woods. Enraged and grief stricken, Darius attempted to follow her while dodging arrows, slowing him down immensely. He could not find her, nor could he lose the hunters and so he was forced to transform himself back into human form right in front of Prince Siegfried in order to save his own life and possibly give Odette time to flee if she was still alive. Darius was dragged home, accused of kidnapping the Princess and possibly killing her, shaming his father and condemned to die for practicing in sinister, evil arcane arts. He passed the night in the gallows to regain his strength but in the morning, he transformed himself into an owl and took off, never to return.
He searched for Odette for days, weeks, months, unable to stay too long near the castle, but to no avail. She was either gone, or dead. Eventually, he realized that he had to leave the kingdom for he was now a fugitive, wanted for possible murder and blatant disregard for the law. With nothing else to live for and his status stripped, Darius poured himself into researching the arcane arts with the hopes of becoming the greatest sorcerer to walk the earth. To this day, he is unable to forgive himself in the part he played in Odette's possible demise.
The Adversary's arrival into the Homelands was not necessarily an unwelcome invasion for the sorcerer for Darius saw it as an opportunity to hone his magic and distract him from the loss of Odette. He fought him for as long as he could, but eventually, he too, had to retreat to the Mundy world for fear of fading into oblivion. Once in Fabletown, he kept to himself for a few years until monetary obligations forced him to pursue work to support himself and pay the bills. He reluctantly decided to offer his skills to the Thirteenth Floor, but has recently found that illegal potions make that much more money and has been selling glamour on the side.

Relations:
» Scar - Fable; Reluctant but Trusted Companion and Ally

Weapon(s): sorcerer's staff; taloned claws (when in owl form).

Fighting Skill(s): magic; giant owl form.

Special Abilities: Darius specializes in transmutation magic (these are his most powerful spells) but he is also knowledgeable in elemental spells.

Other: Darius has a semi-bound servant: a lion named Scar. He found the beast while out scouting in his owl form (he never stops searching for Odette), severely burnt, dehydrated and dying. He decided to bring the beast home to experiment and test out his latest, newest and most unpredictable spell: transmutation of an animal into a human. It worked, but Darius almost died in the process and to this day, he holds permanent physical changes: his stark white hair and a large scar on his inner forearm. In order to complete the spell and to successfully save the life of the animal, Darius had to spill a lot of his own blood and give up a part of his own life-force to the beast. It now possesses a piece of Darius's essence and if Darius dies, there is a possibility Scar will too. The lion is human by day and reverts back to his natural animal form at night. Darius will probably never perform this spell again.

» Strength(s): Peter; easily manipulates humans in both forms; can see in the dark as a fairy; perfect pickpocket in both forms, taught Peter everything he knows; in her fairy form can only be seen by other faire folk, Peter, and small children.

History: The only fairy born in Pixie Hollow in over one hundred years, Tinker Bell was the baby of her people, her parents although loving were extremely busy, as Pixie Hollow’s only Tinkers, lots to fix all the time. Growing up in Pixie Hollow was beautiful and full of fun playing chase with the birds and flying with the butterflies but Tink desperately craved a playmate so she often stole away to play with human children in nearby villages she adored these children especially the boy Peter, his mother often kept the windows open because "fresh air is good for the child" she'd tell her housekeeper who kept closing them. They would play for hours in his nursery, and when his mother would rock him to sleep, singing to him, Tink would hide on the shelf and listen. At night she would keep the darkness away by sprinkling pixie dust around him making his bed glow slightly. One afternoon while playing with Peter on the balcony a ball rolled between the rails and off the edge, without even thinking Peter chased the ball and fell off the balcony, not strong enough to stop the fall she threw all her dust him hoping to stop his fall the amount of dust rendered him unconscious but his fall was gentle. Once on the ground he would not wake up, scared she flew to his mother and the hated housekeeper trying to get their attention but she was completely invisible to them. In a panic she flew home to get help. The fairies came in rush, the healers pronounced the child will live but with the high dose of pixie dust in his system he could not be returned to the humans. Upon their return to Pixie Hollow, Peter was placed in the healer’s home to be watched after while he healed. Life at Pixie Hollow with the new addition was at first very difficult for Tink, the whole hollow was worried about the boy and angry with her for her "foolish and dangerous behavior” Once Peter had healed enough to be out and about the hollow very quickly fell in love with the child and forgot how mad they were at Tink. As Peter grew Tink stayed by his side while the whole hollow taught him everything they could. After almost killing Peter she stayed away from the human village children...
For the most part anyway...
Tink never could fully give up these human children, she loved their innocence and happiness but she stopped feeding them pixie dust after seeing what she'd done to Peter, who to this day was now addicted to it. Tink always knew Peter would one day leave Pixie Hollow, she dreaded it always knowing one day he’d remember his human family and want to return to the human world, she dreaded that day especially when she knew the queen would never allow her to follow him. One night when they were out flying, he mentioned his plans to leave in search of his mother he’d recently begun to remember, she was so hurt that in a fit of rage she spun off and vanished. Returning to Pixie Hollow months later, as a prisoner of the queen, the royal guard had hunted her for months apparently children had been found wandering the countryside disoriented sometimes even stuck in trees, and all of Pixie Hollow knew who liked to feed the dust to children. Something she learned with Peter was human children when fed too much pixie dust suffer hallucinations, disorientation, and sometimes fly, followed sadly by an addiction to pixie dust. Her lawyer said the healers were able to treat most of the children and return them to their homes but some had to be permanently placed with fairy foster families due to the addictions she had caused. After a very short and what Tink considered very unfair trial the queen had Tink step forward and place her arm on the table in front of her. Tink's punishment was delivered quickly and painfully, as the queen placed her hand on Tink's arm and cursed her saying her beloved human children would never be able to see her again then banishing her from all faire folk she removed her hand as she did Tink vanished in a puff of glitter and smoke.
Tink reappeared hundreds of miles from home, disoriented, and confused. Her arm was on fire, with the curse still burning into her. Knowing she had nowhere to go Tink decided to go to London; she’d heard Peter might be there. Along the way she tried to talk to and interact with children even sleeping in their nurseries but none ever noticed her. Reaching London and tracking Peter down she found even he could not see her so she quietly watched over him and his band of thieves occasionally able to protect him from dangers he never realized she'd protected him from. The loneliness of her curse hurt all the way to her soul, she missed her parents and Pixie Hollow, she missed the happiness of children, but most of all she missed her best friend Peter, sure he was right there but he didn't talk to her or see her. She practiced transformation often, hoping if she perfected the transformation Peter might be able to see her again, sadly even in human form she was invisible to everyone. Finally giving up on life she was wandering the pier one night in her human form when an extremely handsome man stopped, smiled and said “you look lost”. She smiled back at him shocked and thought that's it I've lost my mind now I'm pretending people see me. He didn't wait for her answer he simply said my name is “James Hook, may I help you find your way?” Not knowing what else to say she swallowed hard and decided to go with it, introducing herself quickly as Isabella Fay Tinker.
Izie became fast friends with James Hook, and soon after joined his escapades they were two of the best thieves in England, on land and at sea, it was, as he quickly learned difficult to catch an invisible thief. They spent many years robbing their way around England running a pirate ship off the coast and a lucrative trade on the streets of London, where she saw Peter often, usually in the company of different girls who tended to end up having terrible “accidents”. Hook grew more and more jealous of her obvious love for this thief boy and one night when she was sleeping, which she always did in her fairy form, he locked her in an iron lamp. When she awoke, weakened by the iron, she was helpless, she begged him to release her but knowing she would leave him he refused. Hook became more jealous and angry every day and eventually decided this Peter Pan must be destroyed, so he started leaving clues to catch these Peter’s gang at Scotland Yard. Unfortunately he was under investigation for piracy as well and was almost caught when leaving the information, so he took a quick "real job" with a cruise line and disappeared. All the time keeping his favorite lantern close by because no one could see the small fairy in the glass only the small light she put off as she glowed with anger and frustration. One lonely night she was watching the sea from her lantern and her mark began to pulse and burn then suddenly faded from a deep dark red black burn to an inky gray and then the pain was gone, they had just set sail for America, Tink had heard some place called New York. Wishing she'd get a chance to see this New York and wondering if she'd ever escape from Captain Hook as she called him now Tink felt sad, lonely and dejected, when she heard the strangest thing. Almost like a dream she heard Peter's voice and she heard him say her name. Knowing she had imagined it she closed her eyes and tried to sleep but then her lantern opened and a smaller hand than she was used to reached in, rubbing her eyes thinking she might be dreaming he had to call her name again. Suddenly hearing Hook roll over in his bed behind the doors she jumped as quick as she could into the waiting hand of Peter, dreaming or not she'd go with him to the ends of the earth. They chatted for a while and although neither wanted to say goodbye he placed here back in the lamp promising to come for her when they docked in New York. The voyage passed quickly Hook never realizing he had a stowaway or that the stowaway was visiting her lamp every night as he slept, the time away from the iron making her stronger and healthy once more, until one night she saw land, that night when Peter came she was ready, and they began their trip to Fabletown.

Relations:
» Peter - Fable; 112; Street Performer; Thief; Very Best Friend, She's in Love With Him but He is Unaware
» Captain Hook - Fable; Pirate; Luxury Cruise liner Captain; Once a Close Trusted Friend Until He Held Her Captive, He's in Love With Her, Not in a Healthy Way

Weapon(s): pixie dust; fairy magic; handmade sword (view spoiler).

Fighting Skill(s): extremely fast flyer as a fairy; hand to hand combat in human form.

Special Abilities: She can transform from human to fairy in the blink of an eye, disappearing quick as a wink, invisible to most as a fairy.

Other: She has no idea that Pixie Hollow was destroyed or that the queen's death is how the curse was lifted, she just knows Peter and the children can see her again. Her human form is strong enough to be seen by all now. She is addicted to chocolate; it's like a drug to fairies, occasionally Peter has to force detox her in order to get her thinking straight again. Tink is able to create amazing new mixtures of pixie and fairy dusts and has found a lucrative career in fairy drug dealing seems human and fable alike love the highs they can get from her sparkly concoctions.

» Fable(s): "Little Jack Horner"; "Jack and Jill"; "Jack and the Beanstalk"; "Jack be Nimble"; "Jack the Giant Killer"; "Jack o' Kent"; "Stingy Jack"; "Jack Sprat"

Gender: Male
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 410
» Birthday: October 31

Race: Fable
» Occupation: All Trades
» Residence: The Farm

Appearance:

Height: 5'10"
Weight: 166lbs
Hair: blond; straw-colored; unruly
Skin: light tan; fair
Eyes: cerulean blue
Body type: lean; nimble; lightly muscled
Pitch of voice: low tenor; rarely serious; joking
Distinguishable markings: a small scar on the back of his head from his tumble down the hill

Personality: Jack is sly, clever, and silver-tongued; he rarely likes to do things with his own hands and instead tends to persuade people to do work for him. He is lazy and avoids work as much as possible and tends to get away with it. But he doesn't pass down the chance to cause mischief himself. Sometimes there is a cruel streak in him, sprouted from the time he gave in to the little devil on his shoulder whispering for revenge. Playful and witty, Jack tends to not take things seriously and rarely acts serious himself. He defies authority of any kind, real or imagined, and he only acts in his own self-interests. He sees himself as neither good nor bad and doesn't care what label he has unless he finds it unflattering at the time. His mood changes quickly, making it hard to pinpoint any sincerity in his words. The only thing you can trust about him is that he can never be trusted, which is a paradox in and of itself. At first glance, Jack appears foolish, young, and easily influenced, but he actually stands his own ground and rarely lets anyone change his mind. Unless they have a good argument, and even with that, it would take time.
» Weakness(es): selfish; impatient; disrespectful; staying in one place; no friends.
» Strength(s): persuasive; cunning; pick pocketing; lock picking; nonjudgmental.

History: Jack's story begins on a farm. His parents had both died and he was raised by his grandparents. His grandmother doted on him, but his grandfather was a harsh man, having lived with disappointment in his son for letting down the chance to join the king's men and putting shame on the Horner family. Many times as a young boy, Jack would wander about the small farm they lived in and often returned to a warm pie fresh out of the oven and a welcoming kiss from his grandmother. As a little trick to get attention from his grandfather, Jack would stick this thumb in the plum pies and show it off, unable to understand that the act of silliness was seen as misbehavior to his grandfather. Eventually, Jack gave up on trying to earn his grandfather's affection, and it was not too long after that his grandfather was killed by a giant on the way to the town market. Grieved, Jack only turned more to his antics of foolishness, finding it easier to laugh things off than to face his feelings. From that time, he and his grandmother worked together, but slowly they were slipping into debt.
One time, after a day in town, Jack heard rumors of a man who sold magical objects. Finding him in the tavern, Jack tricked him into drinking liquor until his lips were loosened. With the drunken man, he sold their dry milk cow for a couple magic beans from the man. His feeble grandmother didn't understand that the arrangement he made was meant to improve the farm since his intentions was to sell the magic beans for a greater profit. Instead, his grandmother was furious and threw the beans out the door, scolding Jack for believing in such nonsense. Then, in the night, a giant beanstalk grew. His grandmother was amazed and told Jack to investigate what was at the top. Armed with nothing but rope, Jack climbed and he found out that the giant that killed his grandfather lived in a kingdom above the clouds. With a sudden flare of anger and thirst for revenge, Jack snuck into the giant's castle and along with stealing money, he let the giant chase him. Since the giant was slower, he made it down faster and after he reached the bottom, he took an axe to the beanstalk and while the giant was climbing, the beanstalk was cut through, sending the giant plummeting to his death. His grandmother was unaware of Jack's revenge, thinking that it was in self-defense that he killed the giant. Still, with the money, they lived in comfort and Jack let himself relax. On a whim, Jack went with his grandmother to a festival in a town next over. They were traveling back and they fell into some hard weather. When climbing the hill, Jack lost his footing and he fell back down to the bottom, cracking his head against a rock. His grandmother, fearing for him, tried to walk after him but slipped as well and tumbled after. In her case, her feeble body couldn't take it and when Jack regained consciousness, his grandmother was gone.
As soon as his grandmother died, Jack was cut loose from everything he knew and he let himself become consumed by anger at the world. To feed his rage, he fell into a violent craze and it was in this stage that he truly gained the name "Jack the Giant Killer". Jack wandered the land, from country to country, killing giants that happened to be terrorizing others. One of those giants proved a little more difficult than usual and Jack heard that only a certain power can destroy it. Wandering his way up north, Jack came across Eirian Nordskov. At first he was unaware of her powers and he stayed with her for some rest, eventually gaining her trust and she told him about her powers. Finding her an easy target, he tricked her into letting him take her powers and he ran off, using her powers to defeat the giant. Eventually, Eirian's sisters chased after him and took her powers back, but Jack was beyond feeling guilty since he was already on his way to fighting another giant.
From there, Jack only made more and more enemies, gaining wealth from killing giants and never looking back at the people he used to get what he wants. One time he jumped over a candle as he ran from a crazy old man, another time he swiped off food from a feast. Everywhere he went, he left anger in his wake. One time, he crossed paths with a devil of a man, some kind of wizard. The wizard said that Jack was to die, but through a series of tricks, Jack managed to turn that around on the wizard and after gaining the man's word, he avoided death. Another time, some lord overheard about Jack's tricks and thought he could outwit him. Still, Jack dodged harm and instead he managed to grant himself freedom in that part of the land. Jack would have continued his chaotic course if it weren't for the sudden threat in the land and he fled to Fabletown. Unfortunately for him, he was recognized immediately and sent to prison. However, he doesn't plan on staying there long since his new goal is to find his way back to the top.

Relations:
» John Horner - Fable; Deceased; Grandfather; Could Never Please, But Holds Great Respect
» Jill Horner - Fable; Deceased; Grandmother; Moral Anchor
» Eirian Nordskov - Fable; 170; Past Flirtation

Weapon(s): He uses anything nearby.

Fighting Skill(s): Since Jack has been around to many different places, he has managed to pick up on a variety of skills but he hasn't mastered any of them. However, he tends to avoid outright confrontation when it comes to fighting and he'd rather try to outwit his opponents first. Perhaps the only thing he has mastered is his ability to kill giants.

Special Abilities: Jack's ability is that he can talk to anyone about anything and he uses this to persuade people to do things that they might otherwise not do.

Other: When he is happy, Jack laughs. When he's sad, he laughs. And when he's angry, he'll laugh even more. Laughing is his weakness and his safety since Jack doesn't want to stop; stopping means he will look at what he has done and he doesn't ever want to do that. Stopping only reminds him of the warm pies from the oven and a smiling grandmother and the old man who had hugged him once in his life.

Appearance:

Height: 137lbs
Weight: 6'1"
Hair: raven black
Skin: pale; dove violet undertone
Eyes: yellow
Body type: willowy; deceptively muscular; yoga toned
Pitch of voice: Eleanor Audley
Distinguishable markings: Although Maleficent's physical appearance is not extremely out of the ordinary for a Fable, her signature clothing is very conspicuous.

Personality: Maleficent is a strong character, rarely succumbing to emotions like many of her sex are accused of doing. She is as ambitious as she is cunning and ruthless to a fault. Because she has few allies and even fewer friends, she is resourceful and completely autonomous. She has zero tolerance for those who do not obey her every word and has no qualms about disintegrating those in her path who she considers to be in her way. She is not a fool though and understands that she is not invincible; therefore, she must keep her murderous thoughts in check lest she be exiled from Fabletown and back to the Homelands.
» Weakness(es): pride; bitter; murderous.
» Strength(s): cunning; conniving (can also be seen as a weakness); intimidating.

History: Maleficent's past is shrouded in mystery, though her popularity as a "villain" among Mundys has caused a number of backgrounds to be created--none of these stories have been confirmed as the truth by the Mistress of All Evil herself. She is unlikely to reveal her history either. In Fabletown, she is known as the manager of the Thirteenth Floor, but like most overseers, it is almost impossible to get a hold of her--unless she wants to be found, of course.

Relations:

Gender: Female

Age: 201
» Birthday: May 13

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Thirteenth Floor Employee
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 110lbs
Hair: golden yellow
Skin: pale with a golden sheen
Eyes: silver
Body type: slender; feminine; agile
Pitch of voice: soft; warm
Distinguishable markings: She has a trail of stars going up her spine. They look like birthmarks of different shades but appeared when her guardian angel blessed her.

Personality: Natalie is always kind to those around her, taking into consideration their needs first before her own even cross her mind. She is always rather happy, is an extremely thankful person for all she has in her life, and doesn't like seeing others in the position she was in as a child. Her resolve has been to help people ever since her fortunes turned around. Because of all this, her own feelings mean little to Natalie, and it is often why she is hard to offend. Despite her being so welcoming and friendly, it is hard to get past her selflessness to achieve her love. The selflessness which saved her could also end up being the death of her.
» Weakness(es): lack of fighting skills; brute strength; overly nice; putting others before herself; new to town; tries to see the good in everyone.
» Strength(s): hard to offend; excellent survivalist; rich; good swimmer; hard to frighten.

History: Natalie grew up as an orphaned girl that was poor and homeless; at that time she had only her name, her clothing and a loaf of bread that a kindhearted soul had given her. She was a goodhearted person, however, and so she went out into the countryside to see what might happen. She gave a hungry man her bread whom she met on her venture, and to three cold children she gave her cap, her jacket, and her dress. In a forest, Natalie saw a naked child begging for a shift, and since it was dark and she could not be seen, she gave her own shift away. Having stripped naked and given her shift away, she then ended up spending three days and nights in the forest. On the fourth day, she was swimming in a lake and was greeted by her guardian angel, who told her soon her generosity would be rewarded. With that the angel left a towel and a clean set of clothing for Natalie. After Natalie dried herself and dressed again, the guardian angel sent stars falling from the sky before her, proven to be silver talers. Having no friends or family to speak of, she moved around a lot before deciding to find a place where people like her could live in peace. This has led her to go to Fabletown.

Relations:
» Guardian - Angel; Unknown; Guardian Angel

Weapon(s): Star Magic

Fighting Skill(s): Natalie is fast and can dodge attacks with near lightening speed.

Special Abilities: As an extra blessing from her guardian angel, Natalie received a power which enabled her to use characteristics and functions of stars. The catch is that she always remain true to helping others. Abilities include increased speed, taking from the way a shooting star will cross the sky, being able to shoot rays of light from her hands or eyes which can burn someone, producing orbs that explode in a blinding light so as to disorientate someone as well as making an orb of light appear to use as a light in the darkness. Her navigational skills are unrivaled as she has an intimate knowledge of stars, meaning she doesn't ever get lost. So far this is all she has discovered from her magic, but occasionally a new ability will arise.

Other: Natalie's guardian angel is always looking out for her, and whenever the girl seems to be in trouble, will let the girl know to turn and head for the hills. Sometimes it is a tingling feeling up her spine on the markings she left on the girl, while at other times it will require the angel to actually appear to her. More than once has the angel fought of attackers while Natalie fled the danger. This mostly happened when she was younger, as now Natalie has learned to use her magic in defense.

Weight: 190lbs
Hair: black; sleek; soft; shoulder length
Skin: pale; scarred; healthy
Eyes: dark brown; almost black
Body type: muscular; lean; hard
Pitch of voice: (view spoiler)

Personality: Shang is a kind guy, but he doesn't know how to let loose, growing up in times of war and his military background give him an appreciation for order and discipline. He knows how to take care of himself, but that doesn't mean he doesn't nurse his sorrows every now and then at the local bars. Shang is an intellectual, specializing in strategy. Whether it be making a battle plan or a fitness agenda, Shang is good at organizing and playing to people's strengths. He's honest and realistic, but also optimistic for the future. Shang enjoys helping others and often will if the opportunity is presented to him. He is the kind of friend that invites others out to go hiking or running, etc, but don't ask him to come for karaoke. He will not likely participate.
» Weakness(es): quiet; militant; party pooper.
» Strength(s): careful; strategic; loyal.

History: Shang is the well-loved son of a once renowned military General in China. Growing up, Shang was groomed to one day take his father's place. He wasn't prepared, though, for being thrust into the position as soon as he was. His father died in battle, trying to stop the Huns from proceeding to the capital. Shang had been training recruits at the time and when he received his new title, he did his best to be the General his father had always hoped he'd be. Mulan, a woman who was impersonating a soldier, was one of Shang's recruits. She ended up being the one to save China from the Huns with the help of Shang and her fellow soldiers. Shang and Mulan eventually began dating and fell in love. They got married and not too much later the Adversary invaded and Shang was separated from her. He came to Fabletown and, not having recruits to train, he turned to others. He started as a personal trainer and worked his way up to owning his own Gym. It's been years since he came to Fabletown and he still doesn't know what happened to Mulan. He still struggles with believing she is alive.

» Bigby Wolf - Fable; 514; Fabletown Sheriff; Friend and Drinking Buddy
» Cinderella Rhodopis - Fable; 317; Owner of The Glass Slipper; Friend, Ex-Almost Thing, and Drinking Buddy

Weapon(s): swords; knives; guns; anything he can get his hands on.

Fighting Skill(s): sword fighting; martial arts; boxing; archery; shooting.

Special Abilities: Durability: Shang is hard to injure and not just because of his well muscled physique. His skin is just as smooth as the next person's but it is tough to penetrate. While a bullet might get through at a very close range, knives and blades cannot scratch him.

Other: He dates occasionally, but isn't a very fun date because he feels like he is cheating on his wife and feels horrible about it. He can often be found at a local pub drinking his troubles away when he is especially low.

Appearance:

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 117lbs
Hair: dark espresso brown; long; waist length; very thick; straight
Skin: pale; rosy cheeked
Eyes: liquid silver; almost pale blue
Body type: thin; lithe; flexible
Pitch of voice: (view spoiler); commanding when need be
Distinguishable Markings: Ivory white scars decorate her body, tokens of the Adversary's abuse.

Personality: What kind of person can you actually become when you have been told by your captors that you are nothing but a weapon, a tool, and a means to an end? You either give up on life and let death claim you, or you strive to become the best living machine that you can be. Mulan sees discipline as the key to her success, and she welcomes it with open arms. When she isn't training, her mind wanders and she begins to think of life outside of the Adversary's clutches, but that train of thought will never get her anywhere except staring down the barrel of a gun sent to finish her off. She is a quick learner, not only in physical training, but her keen grasp of social manipulation has made her into one of the world's best spies. She knows exactly what buttons to push and when; she is remarkably patient and can work a case for years without giving herself away only to strike at the right moment--when it is too late for her opponent to react.
» Weakness(es): Shang; manipulative (can also be seen as a strength); unsympathetic and emotionally unavailable (whatever conscience she has left has been buried so deep within her that it may be near impossible for it to ever resurface); hardened; cold and calloused (even when she is experiencing a rare moment of empathy for another, she is hard pressed to show it); ruthless; prone to nightmares.
» Strength(s): disciplined; remarkably bright; patient; linguistic genius (not only can she pick up languages at an accelerated pace, Mulan has absolutely no difficulties with accents and when she becomes fluent in a language, it is impossible to tell that she is not a native speaker); venus flytrap (by the time you realize she's playing you, it is far too late--you're probably already dead).

History: When the Adversary invaded the Homelands, Mulan attempted to escape along with her husband, Li Shang. She was separated from him during the mass exodus and subsequently captured, sure that she was to be executed. The Adversary had other plans for her; he kept her prisoner and tortured her both physically and psychologically until she gave him her word that she would work for him. Although he promised her that has long as she remained loyal to him, he would never harm her husband who now lived in Fabletown, Mulan isn't sure the Adversary will keep his word, though she dare not test him. His life is worth more than anyone else's and she will die to keep him alive. Now, the Adversary wants her to infiltrate Fabletown so they can gain intelligence information on the Fables, and squash them from the inside out. As she heads towards her destination, Mulan wishes that he had just killed her all those years ago.

Relations:
» Li Shang - Fable; 1,555; Beloved Husband; Sorely Missed

Weapon(s): Glock 26; jian (double-edged straight sword: (view spoiler)); warfan; poison darts; throwing knifes.

Fighting Skill(s): Northern Shaolin kung fu; Sambo; Vovinam; Capoeira; melee proficiency; archery; firearms.

Special Abilities: Mulan has a red dragon familiar who aids her from time to time called Mushu: (view spoiler).

Other: Apart from her native language (Mandarin), Mulan is also fluent in Cantonese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, German, English, Ukrainian, Romanian, Polish, and Latin. She is currently learning French and Spanish, and while she can understand most of it and work with the languages on a rudimentary level, she is nowhere near fluency and cannot read or write either very well (like she can the other languages she speaks). Mulan does have a soft side, but she never shows it to others. If she is given some time off to recuperate after a long mission, she will sometimes lock herself in her quarters and listen to operas for hours on end as she allows the music to sooth and touch her soul.

Merida is very private, she keeps her emotions under the surface of her cut and dry professionalism, and trusts almost no one, but if she ever lets her emotions out of the cage she's locked them in they'll probably explode.
» Weakness(es): information about her brothers, though none has come up; her temper; fondness for animals; money.
» Strength(s): crack shot; ability to get in and out of places without a sound, except her motorcycle engine as she escapes.

History: Merida was raised a proper princess, except in her off time when she spent hours on end practicing her shooting, and running away from her mother. After proving to her mother, and the other clans, that she didn't need to marry to inherit their kingdom she eventually became queen. Just a few years after her coronation she was dethroned and forced into hiding, along with her brothers. When appeared again she found that the adversary had ravaged their lands and that most had already gone, instead of following the rumors and heading for Fabletown she traveled the world, learning new tricks and taking care of her brothers. The four were exploring the edges of Australia when all three of her brothers vanished, no explanation, no clues as to where they went, nothing. Once she was alone she closed up, everyone was an enemy, she could trust no one. Not having a goal anymore she made her way to Fabletown, arriving sometime in the early twenties. She took on a few simple jobs, stealing things and such, and she found she loved the look someone had when they found something missing, especially something important or valuable.

Relations:
» Harris, Hubert, and Hamish - Brothers; 716; Missing

Weapon(s): Merida has a variety of hidden handguns, throwing knives, and a collapsible crossbow.

Fighting Skill(s): Street fighting

Other: Her arrows never fail her, as guns often do.

Name: Vanna Miller
» Fable(s): "Rumplestiltskin"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 202
» Birthday: April 26

Race: Fable
» Occupation: Baker
» Residence: Fabletown

Appearance:

Height: 5'3"
Weight: 118lbs
Hair: dark auburn brown
Skin: light; ivory
Eyes: chocolate brown
Body type: slight curves; unathletic
Pitch of voice: honest; straightforward

Personality: Vanna has learned patience when it comes to dealing with her father and this patience has spread to other people. Sometimes it may seem like she lets others step all over her, but she tends to brush off any rudeness directed her way. Hardworking, Vanna is more comfortable in busy environments and she rather work than waste time trying to figure out where her life is going or try to dream herself in a different place. Though, perhaps this isn't a good thing because that puts Vanna in a position where she doesn't allow herself to dream. If she were to dream, she may realize there are more possibilities in her life than the work she has done all her life.
» Weakness(es): stubborn; methodical (can be a strength); spontaneous (she doesn't know how to do things beyond what's planned); indie music bands.
» Strength(s): practical; gets the job done; good under pressure; caring; nurturing; level-headed.

History: Vanna's father has always worked on the mill, the property having been passed down from father to son for generations. However, Vanna's father didn't like the simple life and he was rather greedy. Because of this, he would gamble and drink into the night, leaving Vanna to try to run things on her own. The one night, her father was incredibly drunk and he made some boast that Vanna was able to spin straw into gold. It was a ridiculous thing to say and though Vanna was angry, she kept her silence, just working as much as she could to keep the mill afloat. This boast of her father's somehow was caught in the winds of gossip and rumor and it reached the king's ears. It was an extraordinary notion and he was seeking ways for his kingdom to gain wealth without taxing citizens. Upon hearing this, he sent soldiers and Vanna's father made arrangements without her knowledge that she was supposed to stay in the king's tower for three days to prove if she could perform this magic. In sorrow and despair, Vanna was about to give up hope when Rumplestiltskin appeared. She doesn't know exactly why he showed up, but he wanted a contract with her. He will give her the skill to turn straw into gold and in the future she was to give something in return. Seeing that it was either death for her (and most likely her father and though she didn't approve of him, she didn't think he deserved it) or losing something in the future, Vanna made the choice. Bestowed with the powers, she made the straw turn into gold and at this discovery, the king offered to marry her. However, before this could happen, the Adversary came to the Fable Lands, and so Vanna fled along with everyone else to the place called Fabletown in the land of New York. Now, Vanna works at a bakery, decorating cakes and pastries.

Relations:
» Dunstan Miller - Fable; Father; Former Miller; Reluctantly Still Cares For Him
» Rumplestiltskin - Fable; Rescuer/Contractor; Hasn't Seen Him Yet in Fabletown

Weapon(s): None

Fighting Skill(s): None

Special Abilities: Vanna has the ability to spin straw in gold, an ability given to her from Rumplestiltskin. It is yet to be seen if it can be taken from her, but she rarely uses this power anyways.

Other: On the side, Vanna likes to design outfits and style hair, though she won't admit this or that she is any good to anyone if they ask.

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 188lbs
Hair: sandy blond
Skin: fair
Eyes: green
Body type: slim, athletic
Pitch of voice: even deep tone
Distinguishable markings: In Fable form his greenish hued leathery skin is scared from years of fighting, and his evil eyes reflect his truly bitter nature. In his human form he is the refelction of pure sweetness, with an innocence that is almost disarming. HIs perfect skin shows not a single scar.

Personality: Like most people with psychopathic tendencies he has a grandiose self-perception, and an exaggerated sense of self-importance. His poor behavior control and need for constant stimulation, coupled with a significant lack of remorse for others creates a promiscuous and wild lifestyle, that is dangerous both for himself and those close to him. He's well known to be heartless and cold, no one has yet to find anything redeeming about him outside his charming and handsome exterior.
» Weakness(es): impulsive; irresponsible; manipulative; controlling.
» Strength(s): charming; versatile; smart; manipulative.

History: Gustav Rayner Rumpelstiltskin came into being so long ago that he cannot even tell you about his family. For as long as he could remember he's been on his own. The imp has many magical abilities and has spent most of his life manipulating people with his magic. He can easily make one's dreams come true but magic comes with a price, one few people realize the true depth of until it's too late. His help has destroyed families even villages. There is no limit to human greed and Gustav is more than willing to provide the magic needed for those who are willing to pay his price, he has no care for whom or what is destroyed in the process seeing it as a human problem. Gustav used magic to bring a very greedy young noble into power once, and in return for this help the new king would owe Gustav his first born. Several years later as the young queen lay holding her newborn son the imp came to her bed chamber and demanded what he was owed. The woman cried and begged for the imp's mercy, upon seeing her desperation the imp saw a golden opportunity and agreed to allow her to keep the child if in return she could guess his true name. Promising her that if she guessed it he would take a chest of gold in exchange for the child. He left the woman promising to return in three days. After returning to the queen's chamber twice with the queen making no progress Gustav offered the king a chance to pay him off, the king flatly refused, so after laying his hands on the child the imp quietly left, reminding the queen she had one last chance. When he returned for the third time Gustav knew almost immediately he'd been double crossed but before he could be captured and locked away he uttered the words that would enact the curse he'd begun on the child three days earlier. As the king's men placed the imp in irons he laughed hysterically and vanished.
When Rafael came into power Gustav requested an audience with the new king offering to remove the curse in exchange for the gold his father before him had denied. Rather than pay the imp Rafael had him locked in an iron prison where he spent the next eighteen years before finding his chance to escape. After years of imprisonment Gustav had a healthy appetite for revenge and quickly sought out the still childless king. Slipping seamlessly into the royal court using a human form he'd perfected while locked up.
Rafael ruled using manipulation and fear, no one understood why the king's heart was so black, no one but Gustav. The palace was plagued by greed and deception making it easy for the imp to blend in, waiting for his chance at revenge. When Gustav heard about the beautiful woman locked away in the king's tower he became curious, why were there rumors of this woman being magical? Deciding he had to see this woman for himself the imp headed to the tower. As he appeared in her tower Gustav was struck by the scene in front of him and kindly asked why she was so sad. She seemed shocked by his appearance, humans usually were, but she still told him her story. Seeing her as an opportunity to take revenge on the king Gustav offered her a deal. He'd give her the ability to magically spin straw into gold and in exchange she'd be his when the time was right. Smiling when she accepted his offer the imp kissed the girl's hand and watched as the gold beams worked through her hand and into her bloodstream. Before bounding out the window of the tower he reminded the girl again that a deal was a deal, and he seriously didn't take kindly to being double crossed.
Gustav excitedly awaited the marriage of the king and Vanna knowing that he would soon have the queen in the palm of his hand. He intended to use Vanna's promise to him as a way to destroy the king but before the wedding could take place, the Adversary came to the Fable Lands, and so Gustav fled along with everyone else to the place called Fabletown in the state of New York. Where taking his human form and the name Thomas Rayner he quickly manipulated his way into a law firm with fake diplomas and credentials. Thomas Rayner, rose quickly to the top of his profession and he is now the youngest CEO in New York, his charm and charisma are exceeded only by his lies.

» Rafeal Ludwig Anselm - Fable; Nemesis; 332; Out of Work; Rafael is a King Without a Kingdom He Carries a Curse That Can Only be Undone by The Imp His Father Double crossed; Rafael Still Seeks to Find and Control Vanna He Wishes to Harness Her Power for Himself (view spoiler)

» Tinker Bell - Fable; 162; Client; Fairy Hotel and Safe House Owner; He's Helped Her Out of Multiple Scrapes With the Law Both in The Fable and Mundy World

Weapon: Switchblade

Fighting Skill: He is a dirty fighter who is not afraid to break rules or heads to get what he wants. He trains daily at Li's Gym and fights regularly at a Mundy underground fight club.

Special Abilities: Gustav/Thomas is a magical being, who can create and bestow powers as well as destroying them. His gifts of power always come at a price and when the price is left unpaid he inflicts curses that can be effective and long lasting. He's gone by many names and given and taken away many magical powers. Although he's been caught using his powers his connection to the law firm has gotten him out of most scrapes with the law thus far.

Other: Gustav/Thomas is a manipulative and selfish being who has never cared for anyone but himself, but he is also a miserable and lonely man. What he wants from Vanna is more than just her cooperation he wants to own her heart, her body, her very soul and he wants her to give it to him willingly. He is unused to how the girl makes him feel when he sees her in this new world they've found themselves in and it angers him to know that in the end he may end up being the one manipulated.

๖ۣۜSαᴙαh ๖ۣۜMᴄĄłłiƨʈeʀ (inked_chinadoll) Name: Ursula Cecile Frederikke
» Alias(es): The Sea Witch; Vanessa
» Fable(s): "The Little Mermaid"

Gender: Female
» Sexuality: Heterosexual

Age: 177
» Birthday: November 17

Race: Cecaelia
» Occupation: Outcast
» Residence: The Farm

Appearance:

(view spoiler)
Height: 8'0" (when tentacles are straight); 6'1" (as Vanessa as well as when tentacles are fanned out)
Weight: 240lbs (including tentacle weight); appears to be 145lbs
Hair: silvery grey; white streaks; long; curled
Skin: Ursula - pale violet; slightly ashen grey in certain lighting; Vanessa - pale
Eyes: Ursula - bright amethyst; Vanessa - sea blue/glass green
Body type: curvaceous; buxom; full hourglass
Pitch of voice: low; deep; husky
Distinguishable markings: inky black tentacles with indigo undersides and pale purple suctions; a small, black beauty mark on the right side of her chin below her full red lips; golden seashell necklace.

Personality: Ursula is physically striking and exotic. Her race is a rare one in Atlantis and even for a cecaelia, she looks different (most are born with no hair and many have tentacles for arms as well as legs). She uses her exotic appearance to get what she wants and when this is coupled with her seductive personality, men rarely say "no" to her. Ursula hates to lose and will do almost anything to win--even if this means she has to cheat, lie and steal to get what she wants. Perhaps Ursula's greatest strength is her self-confidence. Her belief in her own self worth enables her to "sell" herself as "worthier" than her original social status and capabilities. This is not to say that Ursula has no follow through: if you make a deal with her, she will keep her end of the bargain but what she manipulates you into believing is not necessary what you originally had in mind when you sign the contract. It is, after all, how she became Triton's favorite wife and it is how she will regain the kingdom from her pathetic and weak ex-husband's grasp.
» Weakness(es): greedy; conniving; manipulative (can also be seen as a strength).
» Strength(s): seductive; convincing.

History: King Triton had been married to his wife for well over twenty years before eighteen year old Ursula waltzed into his kingdom and subsequently his life. It did not take him long to take her as his lover and after a year of careful planning and calculation, Ursula manipulated the king into marrying her. Although she had originally seduced him for his power and title, much to her chagrin, she grew to love him, consequently fueling her jealousy towards his wife and seven daughters, specifically the youngest, Princess Ariel--clearly Triton's favorite. In a desperate attempt to hold onto his love, Ursula told the king that she wanted to bare his child. Triton refused, informing her that their offspring would most likely be an abomination, a risk he was not willing to take. Deeply hurt by this revelation, Ursula plotted to rid the kingdom of her rapidly growing competition, Ariel, only to be discovered by the queen's spies. Triton, enraged--despite his own love for his favorite wife--banished Ursula to the darkest corner of the seas, unable to bring himself to execute her. She spent years in exile, eventually learning how to make a living by selling her magic and potions to the highest bidder. When The Adversary attacked, she too fled to Fabletown with the others, though she was sent to live on The Farm thanks to Triton's influence. Although Ursula should admit that she is entirely to blame for her own exile, she is unrepentant and unable to relinquish the thought of vengeance. She spends the majority of her waking (and sleeping) hours seeking out a way to bring down Triton, the queen and that despicable brat of a Princess turned whore (a fact she relishes with the utmost glee).

Relations:
» Triton - Ex-King; Ex-Ruler of Atlantis; Ex-Husband

Weapon(s): magic; tentacles; ink sacs (to confuse enemy); Flotsam and Jetsam (her pet twin eels) (view spoiler).

Fighting Skill(s): grapple, suffocation and strangulation (with tentacles).

Special Abilities: elemental control (water); transmutation (only on hybrid races); "love potions" (enhances the pheromones of the one swallowing the magic).

Other: Since the fables' banishment to Manhattan, Ursula has created a human form (she uses the name Vanessa on land) which she switches to while keeping her original, cecaelia form within a golden seashell necklace (her wedding gift from Triton).
