Yes, that's it. Thank you guys! It looks like a winner:) Its sitting on my desk...can't wait to start!
I read this back in 2006, it was a library copy, so reading this post made me get my own copy, thanks :)
I have the s/l hardcover that I got at a ubs about a year ago. Looks good on the shelf, but it is about time to actually read it :)
its all good everyone read at your own pace i am still working overtime alot trying to get this new machine running at work so only had maybe about an hour to read here and there lol but soon should be done
Well, I obviously stink at buddy reads, but I did finally start this bad boy. I am about 10% in and liking it so far. Interested to see where it goes. I did not read any reviews or even the synopsis, so am flying blind with this one.
Ok. I lied. I did read Adams review a little while ago and was intrigued enough to push this one up the tbr.Am about 20% in and am still liking it so far. I have a feeling it is going to hit the fan when these stories intersect. At least I am hoping. :)
Bill, I just know your taste and I expect you are going to dig this as much as I did. You have to stick with it through a few laggy sections, but the end is a real achievement in cosmic horror, and totally worth the ride! I'm happy my review encouraged you to read it, too, by the way.
