Rhiannon Roe | 3 comments I read a book in my secondary schools library a couple of years ago and have forgotten the title, but would like to find it again to purchase it.
I believe it had a black cats face on the front (or at least half of) displaying one yellow eye.

I cant remember all of the title but i believe it had Jacobe/Jacob in and "the tales of" in there somewhere.

It followed the plot of a young girl (name escapes me) and she used to have a black cat but her mother had it put down when her new partner was allergic- i think she lied and told the girl he ran away though or something.
But i think she gets in an accident on her bike, the whole typical coma thing plays out in in her dream like state her cat is alive and talking to her etc etc.
Talks to her about connections between different worlds and such- the usual crazy coma.
Pretty random plot that jumps about now i think about it but it was a good read.
Would really like to find it again.

Edit: there was some sort of weird obsession by the girls mother over mowing the garden/the grass i think.

Horror, fantasy, mystery, etc?
